I bought a 2015 Ram 3500 after being told it was “one owner,” “road ready,” in excellent condition, and had received a “fine tooth inspection by certified technicians.” Based on those representations, I wired $39,513.20 in full before taking possession. What happened afterward has been a nightmare. An independent diesel inspection identified extensive mechanical and safety-related problems and characterized the truck as a “high-risk purchase,” with necessary repairs potentially approaching or exceeding $20,000. When I asked Auto Source of Texas for the inspection documentation supporting the “fine tooth inspection” I had been told about, they would not provide it. The paperwork raised even more concerns. Despite paying in full by wire transfer, my documents showed an “UNPAID BALANCE” of $38,111.36 and referenced a “Primary Loan.” A later receipt contained a loan ID, account number and an ACH payment even though I never applied for dealership financing and did not make an ACH payment. As I investigated further, I discovered additional serious discrepancies involving the vehicle's title history, VIN information, prior ownership and mileage. I have since filed a federal lawsuit regarding this transaction, where these allegations and the supporting documentation can be addressed through the legal process. I'm sharing my experience for one reason: I don't want another buyer to go through this. If you're considering purchasing here, just don't .... Or at least please protect yourself. Get your own independent mechanical inspection. Pull your own title and vehicle-history records. Verify the VIN and mileage. Read every document carefully. And get every representation made about the vehicle in writing. Do all of that BEFORE you send your money. I learned that lesson the hard way. More

Do Not Buy Their Extended Warranty! I have nothing negative to say about the car I purchased from Amir nor the experience I had. My complaint is that the $6,000 extended warranty was I have nothing negative to say about the car I purchased from Amir nor the experience I had. My complaint is that the $6,000 extended warranty was pushed as the ultimate warranty and that outside of normal wear and tear items, all will be covered. Read the fine print and you find several ways for Gold Standard to deny your claim. I just had one denied that involved my engine that cost me $5,500. They denied it because the initial failure was in my oil seperater that led to pressure in engine and damage. The rep had to point out some fine print on like page 10 that allowed them to get out of this one. When you purchase it, all they show is that everything is covered, so buyer beware. It's sad that you have to take the warranty to an attorney prior to signing it because of this language. They know exactly what they're doing and know they have the advantage to get out of paying claims. More

Recently bought a 2021 truck from these guys from out of state. We were absolutely lied to on the condition. They sent us a video and purposely left out all of the damaged. Eddie ford even told me over the phone that my perception of a clean truck differs from his which was absolutely rude and weird as a clean truck is a pretty easy and clear statement. Also they stated the truck went through a safety inspection before selling it but when we got it it stopped running the very next day and had to have the batteries replaced as they were not the correct batteries and the terminals were hitting the engine bay stabilizer bar and there was electrical tape on them also. It was a nasty issue. The bed has been repaired/painted and the paint is horrible and you can see runs in it. Also the bed is smashed into the cab of the truck. They clearly told us that there was perfect paint and no damaged.They have since stopped responding to us and they aren’t helping at all. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Yes we are already speaking to an attorney. I have asked them over 5 times already to send me a list of repairs that were done on their behalf to the truck before selling and they won’t respond. Also they have the extra key that they won’t send to us either. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! I HAVE TEXTS AND VIDEO TO PROVE ALL OF THIS. ALSO TEXTS WITH FOUL LANGUAGE AND THREATS DIRECTED TOWARDS ME FROM EDDIE FOR REACHING OUT TO HIM AND POSTING MY REVIEW. More
