This is Central Autohaus’s response to comments made by a potential buyer for the 2010 Mazda5. After a long telephone conversation to this potential buyer we tried very hard for 20 minutes to explain to him why a $17000 car is selling for a nominal price of $9999. This buyer never attended in our showroom to look at this vehicle nor any document in related to this vehicle in person, in our conversation on the phone we were explaining why there is a $7000 difference existed in this case. It was explain to him in detail why this vehicle which is in great condition is way cheaper than normal because of the branded (salvage) title issued by the state of New Mexico. We did not by any means or else enticed any one or in this case to pursue a (washed) title or change the title of this car to some other forms of titles. We in this institution will never ask anyone to do any type of paper work on there own or the least done by a third party. There has not ever been a case of such here, or in relation to our organization. Out of over one hundred auto in our inventory, this is the only car carries an unusual price (thousands) below market. It is unfair for any one or buyers to assume that such car would carry a normal title at such low price and thinking that we are not informing them of the condition of the car or the title of such car. We do deny all the comments made by this person based on a telephone conversation and disputing all charges made by this person (FactChecker). We are requesting to remove this unfair comment to be removed as soon as possible because of no real base fact involved. We would like to know how we can be protected by such harmful accusations by any one trying to damage our reputation just because they are not able to buy a car beyond their affordability of their budget. We would like to end this scrupulous comment to be taken off this website now, before we turn this to our legal aids. Mr Venkata came to our lot on 7/11/2008 and negotiated a price on our 2004 Toyota Avalon XL and asked for permission to take the car for a pre buy inspection. Prior to leaving the lot we discussed all prior body repairs that was announced to us at the auction. He kept the car for 3 hours and returned stating that his mechanic did not have time to inspect the car. Mr Venkata returned the following day to once again take the car to his mechanic. After the inspection we were presented with a list of needed repairs of which we agreed to replace the windshield, tires and brake job. Mr Venkata then asked for a further discount and the car fax report and both was given to him. The car fax report clearly showed no prior accident damage. The sale was made and we thought all was well with the customer, we even had him sign a disclosure indicating body damage that was disclosed to us at the auction. On 4/29/2009 we were approached by Mr Venkata demanding we refund his money because he cannot sell the car because of the accident on the car fax. We agreed to purchase the car back at todays market value and not what he paid in July of 2008. Attached please see copy of car fax showing no accident and according to the car fax Mr Venkata did in fact sell this car in the state of Pennsylvania. We clearly feel we acted in good faith and tried to resolve this without involving a third party. Our offer still stands and would love to resolve this issue. Central Autohaus’s response to this comment or allegation is very clear. The Honda Element was sold to the buyer within two days of being offered for sale on the internet. The buyer drove one early morning from Norman Oklahoma with a prior appointment and started to check the car along with two of his friends (possibly mechanics) from top to bottom. Then they decided to take the car to a local area automotive shop (firestone) for further diagnostics. Around 4 pm they arrived with a list of issues, and demanded more discount. After further negotiation and taking the day of car checking, they left fully content and happy. I got a call 43 days later from the buyer in regards to 4WD issue, and I told them as follows: You bought the car 45 days ago, and anything can happen. You fully had the car checked out with your friends @ firestone. You bought the car AS IS WHERE IS at the wholesale price Unfortunately we cannot possibly make everyone fully satisfied for years to come, and for that matter we have to draw the line somewhere. In this case the buyer is trying hard to overcome his negligence through us with no hesitation.
