High Pressure Service Center I went in to have my acura rdx "B16" serviced. The Rear Differential fluid change was going to cost $150 alone and I didn't want it. They were just go I went in to have my acura rdx "B16" serviced. The Rear Differential fluid change was going to cost $150 alone and I didn't want it. They were just going to go ahead and do it, and I I did not want it. I wanted a clear breakdown of all the work, the cost, so I can pick and choose what I wanted to get done. They were pressuring me that I needed that rear diff fluid change at 15k miles. However, I can opt to do whatever I want. I can do it elsewhere, or wait. I probably can get it done close to 1/2 that cost. I was aghast (sp?) that they would actually pressure me to get it done. Furthermore they wanted to sell me a $275 "package" with all these other things I didn't need an want. Even further more, during the service, the service person came in "while the car was on the lift" and tried to sell me expensive air and cabin filters that I can buy for close to no $ on amazon. They would probably have charged me $50+ for those. I just can't believe that not only buying a car is high-pressure to us , but now servicing our cars is high pressuring us too. OMG. I walked out with $69 oil and tire rotation. More
