I had the best car buying experience ever! Jim Thatcher was a friendly, informative and no pressure salesman. He not only explained the features in different cars but had me sit in the cars to see if I wa was a friendly, informative and no pressure salesman. After making a decision to go with AutoFair's best price, Jim walked me through the whole process of buying the car and setting up my preferences so I could drive off with confidence. I was encouraged to return whenever I had a question and have had further preferences set up for me. I would like to thank everyone involved in my great experience at AutoFair! More
I posted this comment earlier and the GM called me back and made everything right! I must say I did post this before speaking with him and giving them a chance to fix the problem and the dealership did an and made everything right! Thank you Jason and please accept my apology for not speaking with you first. So I go to purchase a car for my daughter at Auto Fair Honda in Manchester, so I go in looking for a specific salesman that was recommended but of course he is in a meeting according to the salesman I end up doing the purchase with??? So we pick a car, test drive it and the car has some miles on it but runs good and clean, at the end of the transaction we are doing the final walk around on the car and the salesman hands my daughter one key, I say to the sales rep where is the second key? His response "The car was just traded in a and we are awaiting the owner to bring the key in so when she does I will call you" fair enough... 1 day, 2 days no call? I write him an email and leave him a voicemail and still no return call?? finally get in touch with him and he said give him until 1:30 the next day so I do and still no call. So I call him and he answers the phone and realizes it is me and he says give me 10 minutes I am getting out of a meeting. Well 10 minutes goes by and I receive a call from this very nice lady explaining to me that somewhere in this deal because it wasn't a CPO that they don't have to provide me a second key but she will sell me one at cost after the salesman told me he would provide me one! The dealership is great and their finance manager was the best but take note be very careful when you deal with their sales reps because they will tell you anything to sell a car and close the deal! I must thank Peters Honda though! I have purchased 4 cars from them in the past (Nissans) and they had my name on file and when I told them the story and why I had to purchase these keys that were going to cost me $200.00! Guess what... Peters actually provided me 2 keys programmed at no charge for all the past business and said think of us in the future. Thank you Peters and Auto Fair all I can say is you have a great festive dealership and your business department was great but you should train your sales reps to have integrity and to be honest with your customers and remember they are the front line of AutoFair and for that reason I will never come back! I will say the General Manager which is good has called me but at this point I have made my decision for the future. The finance manager Dave Flowers was GREAT!! More
Autofair Honda has always been the place I go to for repairs and this goes back to when it was Naults. Why? Because the work is done to perfection and the service writers and techs are very knowledgeabl repairs and this goes back to when it was Naults. Why? I would recommend this dealership due to the fact that they were super friendly and not pushy on purchasing a car. We had no intention of buying that day as we always heard that you should walk away and they were super friendly and not pushy on purchasing a car. We had no intention of buying that day as we always heard that you should walk away and wait for the phone call the next day of the dealership offering you a lower price. Kayla greeted us outside with a smile and was very friendly and relaxed. We had a newborn and a four year old with us and she seemed very sensitive to the fact that these two kids could go into a meltdown at any second :-) I explained to her that I never had driven a large SUV before so she took us for a test drive right off the back to see if we liked it which many dealers would not do because they want to get you inside to run your credit first. After finding one that I liked, the sales manager, Burton, came by and asked us what we were looking for in a payment and said that he really wanted us to be happy with the SUV and what would we like in it to make it perfect. In the meantime, Kayla was entertaining our 4 year old with balloons and popcorn - you could not ask for better than that! We ended up financing with a gentleman who found a local credit union to finance with and meanwhile Kayla was close by (not leaving us for the next customer) which was excellent and reassuring. Once we were ready to go, they brought our SUV in the parking bay and Kayla helped us switched over all our belongings to the new car meanwhile another family just like ours had purchased a van at the same time next to us and seemed really happy just like us. No wonder AutoFair Honda has won the "President's Award" for Service for the last few years for excellent service. The only issue I had was when I came back to get a remote starter installed, we were unsure of which type the dealership promised us in the paper work. The service person, Melissa quickly resolved the issue. Also, another small issue is that on the third day that I owned the SUV (which was two years old) the battery died after I ran the radio with out starting the car for about 15 minutes. I called Kayla and she drove over in the middle of her day to jump it for me and the service team immediately replaced the battery with a new one and explained that Honda's have smaller batteries to save on fuel efficiency so try not to run the battery only toward the end of the life of the battery with out starting the engine every 15 to 20 minutes. I would have given Overall experience a "Great" if I did not have the battery issue and the dealership did everything to make it right and then went above and beyond to fix the issue. Also, I gave a "Good" for value as we wanted to stay under a certain monthly payment and we ended up paying about $15 more per month but the dealership got us a wonderful interest rate. More

Realizing the vibration on the front end while applying the brakes was probably the result of warped rotors, was faced with the decision of who would fix the problem. I accepted the fact I'd probably pay a little more to a dealer than if I'd gone to a no name competitor, but the piece of mind of knowing about parts availability and service experience, would be worth it. My experience at Honda Auto Fair was heightened by the professional treatment I received by one of the Assistant Service Managers, who's name is Melissa Severance. She was very accommodating in answering all questions and kept me updated with current events involving my car. Melissa, also made the effort to keep me informed about the the progress of the repair, throughout the day. Upon arriving to pick up my car, Mellissa was attentive, in making sure I was satisfied with my experience and addressed future plans for additional service, covered under warranty. Lena was excellent to work with! I joked with her that she was too nice and I had a hard time trying to negotiate. She took the time to go over details with me and even after she knew that I would be purchasing the vehicle continued to spend much time with me making sure that all of the settings were customized for me. She also let me know that she would be available at any time via her own cell phone if I ever need anything. She made the experience personal, which I didn't expect at a large dealership. I would highly recommend working with Lena and AutoFair. More
This was my first experience at AutoFair Honda in Manchester, NH. The dealership was clean and the employees seemed upbeat and tidy, from my past experience it really counts to me to see clean cut men and conservative attire on the women (pet peeve) anyway we went on a test drive and checked out a couple of vehicles. Unfortunately that day we couldn't come to terms on a deal, they were not pushy, aggressive but no pressure to "sign here" which was nice. That night I emailed Tod about the terms of the deal, he was very responsive and even got back to me after their 9PM closing time. The next day I contacted Tod and gave him another number, he made the deal happen. Very happy with his customer service, and willing to go to bat multiple times for me. More
Matt was very courteous, professional and thorough during our sales transaction on 8/513. His demeanor and overall friendly nature kept me from furthering my "car search" elsewhere. Charlie went out of his way to help me the day after (on Matt's day off), as I neglected to install the third seat in my trade in when I drove it to your dealership the prior day. Charlie located the trade in, drove it to the front of the showroom and helped me place the seat in the vehicle. I also had a question regarding the car that I purchased. Again, Charlie was very proactive as he brought my query to the attention of the sales manager (Derek?) and one other salesroom personnel. The situation ws addressed and remedied to my safaction. In summation, I was very pleased with the no nonsense, yet friendly and courteous manner in which I was received and treated throughout my "visits"! Regards, Billy Auger More
