Great staff, very professional, very knowlegable of the car. We went hunting for a car. We knew that we wanted an Outback, but not sure of what year to buy, new or used? We visited AutoFair in Plaistow,, the en We went hunting for a car. We knew that we wanted an Outback, but not sure of what year to buy, new or used? We visited AutoFair in Plaistow,, the end of August, and looked at 3 or 4 different Outbacks, different years, different options included. We narrowed it down to 2 and told Erik, our Sales Person, that. He gave us no pressure from the minute we walked onto the dealer's lot. We left, with information on both cars, and said we would be back. Of course, once home I thought of a few more questions. I called and asked for Erik and spoke with him almost immediately; asked my question and hung up. The dealership was very busy upon our return visit. We asked for Erik and he was with another customer, so we waited, walked around to find out that one of the 4 original cars we looked at was sold and there was a couple looking at the others. We had made up our minds on which one we wanted and when Erik completed his business with the other customers, informed him of our request. We bought a 2016 Outback, gave our deposit, and asked if we could pick it up the following weekend, as we wanted a trailer hitch put on. We went back last Saturday and picked it up. Even the financial dealings went smoothly and fairly quick. I recommend this dealership! More

I called service dept at 7:00 pm Thursday night to see if this could be looked at the next day, to me surprise they said bring it up at noon time on Friday. i brought it up before noon they took the car right in, diegnosed it, repaired the clogged hose and everthing was fixed, car washed in less than an hour.... How can you beat that for service! Done in less then 24 hour from the call on Thursday night.....👝🏎... Thanks service Dapt... More

Appointment to repair loose rocker panel. Took my 2009 Forrester to the Subaru dealer (I purchased it there new) to repair a loose rocker panel. At first I was sold incorrect parts from their parts department. Asked for credit. Denied. Then ssk for them to create a solution from their parts bin. The quoted me a $$$ replacement panel. I fixed the problem with a stainless steel screw. Paid $$$ for oil change and class B (what-ever-tha-is) tire rotation. This was 2X competive prices. Other consumables replacements declined because of $$$. I have recived many offers to trace in the Forrester from this dealer. I will most likely look to orhers. More

Always on schedule My Forester is now three years old. Have add all my service at AutoFair (previously Singer). Nancy works the service task like a real pro. For an oil change tire rotation, and safety inspection, I am always out in under an hour. Today, I decided to take a look at an Outback while I was waiting. It was quiet in the showroom so Kim gladly brought me out to the lot and pulled out an Outback and gave me a tour. Overall, this is a very pleasant dealership. More

A maintenance department worthy of its reputation I purchased a Forester in RI after an exhaustive study of reviews on the "best snow cars". I was initially shocked by the maintenance cost and disappo I purchased a Forester in RI after an exhaustive study of reviews on the "best snow cars". I was initially shocked by the maintenance cost and disappointed in the quality of service I was receiving. I was let down by 2 dealerships before deciding to become an educated consumer. I read many online reviews before scheduling the next big service appointment even though I was concerned that reviews can be skewed or unreliable. Two dealership service departments in MA, NH, RI climbed to the top of my review scale. AutoFair ranked No 1 and Patrick No 2 when I filtered online reviews through my own quality criteria and weight factors... (Yes... I'm an engineer with 35 years of service). Once my first visit at AutoFair was completed, I revisited my review table (Pugh Matrix) and AutoFair has climbed even higher. I do not want to mislead anyone about cost, though. Pricing was NOT one of my evaluation criteria because I have resigned to the fact that Subaru service prices sizzle everywhere. I will also caution that techs can be absent-minded or "miss a spot" under pressure, like everyone else. In this case, the mishap was that I was pulled over by a cop outside the dealership because I was driving away on a flat tire (nobody noticed it while replacing 4 brakes and rotors). Please feel free to ask "how many engineers does it take..." because I was equally guilty. How silly of me to drive away, turn on the radio, and drown out the thumping noise of a flat tire. Most importantly: The front desk managers, as well as the techs were courteous and personable. Being too old and impatient to stay seated for long, I paced back and forth (like an expectant father in a waiting room) in front of the service desk watching the maintenance process through the glass wall. I was often in the way but nobody lost their patience or their smile. OK... maybe a salesman pointed me twice to the coffee machine in the waiting room. Neither the mechanics nor the managers tried to sell unnecessary work to me. I was extremely happy NOT to get a lecture on "recommended" service or materials intended to inflate bills. I showed up 95 minutes before my appointment time, and nobody tried to "correct me" or to protest that I was messing up their scheduling software. Even though they respected customers with earlier appointment times, they also drove mine in a bay and a mechanic who was winterizing cars also found time to make progress on mine. At the end, I left 60 minutes earlier than expected. I can testify that my experience was great and that I look forward to socializing again with the two coordinators and the mechanic I met. Nice people that treat customers with respect. I am going back, and I have already pre-paid for a package of 4 oil changes through their Service Rewards Program. More
