I had a very good experience using Automax of Marlborough. Chris was very friendly and accommodting as I was toying with several different cars. In the end, when I had narrowed my choice down to 2 vehicles, he left me alone for as long as I needed to make my decision. Also, Stu Sterling was very accommodating and extremely helpful in obtaining financing for me. It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know in the future looking for a vehicle. Up until I went to Automax, my car buying experience could best be described as "frightening, and hopeless". Salesmen were trying to sell me on a car I wasn't interested, features I would never use, for could best be described as "frightening, and hopeless". Sitting next to people haggling with their salesman for a lower price for over an hour left me wanting to do anything but looking for a car. Automax changed all that. They didn't try to upsell me on anything, their salesmen were professional and friendly, the prices were unbeatable, and financing was both quick and easy. They made sure that I didn't have to settle -- I ended up in a car that I was incredibly happy with, and at a great price. They're not your typical dealership, because in my experience, most dealerships are frustrating to work with. Automax makes everything easy, and should be at the top of the list for anyone looking for a car. More

When I originally started looking for cars I went to Herb Chambers in Brighton, and I had one of the worst experiences EVER with them. Because of them I stopped looking for cars for more than 6 months. So when I called AutoMax, I already had my guard up. But Chris turned out to be the ideal car salesman. Not pushy. Knew what he was talking about. Gave me some great information about the car. Didn't push to get too much information out of me. Was wicked nice!! He's the main reason I even came in to check out the car in the first place. When I got there, he again was super nice. Showed me the car, let me test drive it and I loved it. There were a few little things that needed fixing and when I pointed them out they were fixed almost immediately. I waited until I got home to fill out the paperwork, just to make sure that I wanted to do this. Buying a car is a big step. Because Chris didn't push me to buy it right away and didn't even pressure me at all to fill out any paperwork, it really put me at ease about the purchase. He didn't use the typical salesman line (which they did at Herb Chambers) "what do i have to do to get you in this car today?" Thank God Chris never said those words! He let me take my time, and think about my decision, which, for me was, a huge change from the past car salesmen I had dealt with. And once the paperwork was done, Stu stepped in and took over for the finances. He got me approved within a day, and went over everything with me step by step. He wanted to make sure I knew EXACTLY what everything meant before I signed it. Which was great. It was nice to feel like these guys weren't scamming me, they were actually just selling me a car and doing their job right! The car price was GREAT, and the car itself is great for me. I would recommend buying a car from these guys to anyone, and already have. I would highly recommend the Marlborough office and try to work with Chris and Stu. Oh, and they sent me down to the Framingham office where I got a free inspection, which is a little bonus that I totally appreciated! They were both great, wicked friendly, informative, not pushy and it was just an all around great experience. And believe me, when it comes time to buy my next car, they will be the FIRST and probably the ONLY ones I will be dealing with. So thank you guys!!! Love my car!!! More
