I want to recognize Omar, the service advisor, for being professional, courteous, and respectful throughout the process. He was the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience, and I genuinely ap professional, courteous, and respectful throughout the process. He was the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience, and I genuinely appreciate his efforts. Unfortunately, my interaction with Service Manager Ian McKenzie was disappointing. His communication was dismissive, confrontational, and completely lacking the professionalism I expect from someone in a leadership position. Customers come to a dealership for expertise and guidance, especially when facing costly repairs, and there is a respectful way to handle disagreements. That was not my experience. After being presented with charges for a repair that did not resolve the issue, I ultimately had to stand my ground and make it clear that I was only willing to pay the agreed diagnostic fee. Only then was a resolution reached. Customers should not have to advocate so aggressively for themselves to be treated fairly. While I am grateful that the matter was ultimately resolved and appreciate Omar’s professionalism, the conduct displayed by Ian McKenzie left a lasting negative impression. Leadership matters, and professionalism starts at the top. More
