After 10 yrs living in So Fl, and having purchased 7 cars from Maroone/Auto Nation, they have succeeded in ripping me off financially, putting me in a new car (trading in a $45K mint Chev Traverse)...whose features were NOT explained to me before I left dealership, as no one their...at that particular time spoke English. Drove home a junk...Chev Sonic R.S. WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. Following day, 10/17/13 we noticed body damage on car. Blue tooth HAS NEVER WORKED IN THIS CAR DESPITE INNUMERABLE PHONE CALLS TO A.N. AND RETURNING THE CAR TO THEM FOR BODY WORK/CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMOVAL, AND ATTEMPTED REPAIR OF BLUE TOOTH. FRUSTRATED, I brought this junk car to Homestead Chevrolet 3 times in an effort to get the BT functional, to no avail. Car was serviced early January, and I was told that the BT could NOT be reoaired. After that, because the features of this car WERE NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME, I didn't know that NONE OF THIS JUNK CAR SENSOR LIGHTS WERE NOT FUNCTIONING. Consequently, my right/rear tire was low, I had absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE OR INDICATION OF THIS B/C SENSORS WERE DEFECTIVE, AND I FOUND MYSELF DRIVING A CAR WITH A FLAT TIRE...RIM IN THE GROUND. Immediately called CG AN..& after 11...repeat: 11 phone calls, I finally spoke to the Svc Director. Crying & frightened, Juan advised me to get the car to them asap. Following day, car was brought to them. Instead of assessing the multitude of serious issues with this car, I was told that "they would put me into a new car." Raoul, the GM claimed that he knew I WAITED IN THE SALESROOM AREA FOR 8 SOLID HRS. I was initially shown the new car deal, I was in agreement, however by 4:30 p.m., I was told by a bogus/finance director, whose biz card reads "sales," that they wanted an additional $3,000 in addition to the $3,000 paid while purchasing this junk. Alian Josep...fronting as the Finance Director, then told me he was the General Manager(???) Questioning this, he then told me that Raoul, GM was not in that day, & he had no other superiors to speak to in order to get this transaction completed as originally agreed. Alain treated me in a highly rude, condescending, unprofessional, & abusive manner. I refused, as a woman alone, 10 yr customer of this Dealership, to be treated this way. I went back to the Service Dept 7.5 hrs later to speak with Juan/Dir of Svc, & Mr. Garcia, both of whom treated me with respect. I left with a rental car, and while driving home I left Raoul, GM, a detailed voice mail. He returned my call, and before I could say 1 word, he raised his voice at me, TOTALLY UNFAMILIAR WITH THE FACTS, defending this Alain...never listening to my side of the story. His conduct towards me was: condescending, rude, abrupt, flip, curt & contentious. While a GM of this dealership, told me his phone "had no battery," he hung up on me. I plan to take this matter to GM Customer Care Specialists, and pursue this serious matter, with a multitude of serious issues to the highest level I need to until complete remedial action is taken, and I am driving a new/SAFE...MECHANICALLY SOUND CAR.
