I have come to this establishment for many years and never been displeased with the service provided. I must apologize regarding a miscommunication that occurred at my visit last week. I went in for my usual service but was also reminded of several recommendations that were made at my last visit. With that being said, being that I was overdue on my usual service, I just simply advised Darren, my service writer, to perform any/all suggestions made on top of my usual service. I did not take the time to inquire as to what specifically those services were or the amount of time they would take. With this being said, I was not prepared to make other arrangements for transportation, not realizing what my request entailed. As I approached the 2 hour mark on my wait I contacted Autonation to inquire on status of my vehicle but unfortunately, Darren was gone for the day. I then transferred to the operator who was quite unfriendly and not at all helpful, leaving me on hold for a couple of rounds of 10-15 minute holds. Anywho, fast forward to a few days later where I receive a survey request. I completed my survey stating my displeasure of my visit. I immediately received a phone call from Darren apologizing for what occurred and explaining to me the reason for the long wait. It made perfect sense and I apologized to him for leaving a negative note against Autonation when the misunderstanding was on my part. I would like to strike that negative survey from the books and simply thank Darren for his quick attention to my concern and to solidify the fact that Autonation has always offered top notch service. Things worked out good after getting a 3rd party repair approval that was the dealership extended warranty. the car ran good with no issues on a 550 mile trip. THANK YOU GUS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.
