I came in for an oil change and other services but on the Video review the tech said he had my air pressure at 35psi. When I got my vehicle back my air pressure was at 38 psi. Video review the tech said he had my air pressure at 35psi. When I got my vehicle back my air pressure was at 38 psi. More
Salesman was great, informative and patient. He helped me make an informed decision and was happy to test drive each car I was interested in to make sure I was happy with my choice. AutoNation takes care dealer sleaze to a new level. I found a truck online and called to ask if the posted price was the final price out the door (plus TTL). I was assured that the price was real. Wh I found a truck online and called to ask if the posted price was the final price out the door (plus TTL). I was assured that the price was real. When we got to the dealership, the offer they brought out was $8,000 higher, included several additional charges, and a 10.99% interest rate. When I asked about the interest rate, they said they would need to run a credit check to get a better rate. Isn't that just a routine part of the process? From there, the "no haggle" approach turned into two hours of haggling just to get back near to the price they promised was the price. In the end, I paid $1,500 for paint and interior protection and $500 for window tint that I did not want. I doubt that they actually added any protection to the paint or interior, because they absolutely did not tint the windows. I was tired, frustrated, and not paying attention, so I did not notice that they added $1,000 to the agreed upon price in the contract. So in the end, they basically screwed me out of $3,000. Several times during the process, we started to just walk out. In the end, we got a pretty good deal on the truck even after getting screwed out of $3,000. I will NEVER go back again. It is worth a little extra to deal with a dealership that actually has some integrity. More
First off, never been to this dealership - made an appointment based off a Costco offer - walked in without any real expectations, and the entire process was very smooth. No high-pressure salesperson appointment based off a Costco offer - walked in without any real expectations, and the entire process was very smooth. No high-pressure salesperson/situation, let me decide if I was ready to change vehicles - the day went very well (easy peasy financing as well, no pressure for extras) and I really love my new car! I brought my truck into AutoNation Chevrolet West Austin (11400 Research Blvd) for a tune-up and oil change. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my online appointment and was greeted by Bradley Burt, my se (11400 Research Blvd) for a tune-up and oil change. I arrived about 10 minutes early for my online appointment and was greeted by Bradley Burt, my service representative. I just moved to Austin a couple weeks ago, so I was hoping to find a reliable shop and service advisor to take care of my truck long-term. My truck’s about to hit 95,000 miles, and Bradley suggested a fairly extensive service list in the $1,500 range. I had to scale it back since I’d just had a big round of repairs done before my cross-country move. They didn’t have those records on hand, but I made sure to explain that, and I’m glad I did, because after checking later, I realized several items would have been unnecessary duplicates. I waited roughly four hours in the lounge (until around noon) for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection before needing a ride home for afternoon work meetings. Not long after I got home, I got a text that the truck was ready for pickup. The pricing felt fair for the work done, but it’s worth noting they don’t include a complimentary wash or vacuum like some other Chevy service centers. Overall, I’d give the experience 3 out of 5 stars, no frills, the work got done, but there’s definitely room for a bit more communication and efficiency. More
