The service member for our repair was really kind and communicative. But...our car (after 1 year of purchase) had a major engine issue that was covered under the warranty we purchased at Autonation. We communicative. But...our car (after 1 year of purchase) had a major engine issue that was covered under the warranty we purchased at Autonation. We had to wait a week for the repairs because of the loopholes to use our warranty- then the repair was not done right and our car is back in the shop again for -who knows how long? The whole process has been incredibly inconvenient and frustrating for us (the customers) and everything has been on our time and dime (gas to drive to and from multiple times, towing, rental car). This whole process screams to never purchase from Autonation again. More
I bought a car from this business and I was told the tires were good. A month later I take the car in to get the oil changed. The person who I talked to said I need brand new tires and an alignment whic tires were good. A month later I take the car in to get the oil changed. The person who I talked to said I need brand new tires and an alignment which would cost approximately $1000.00. Is this how honest businesses operate? Sell a car and say everything is good and then have to purchase new stuff one month later because the services section say it needs to replaced? I think the person who sold me the car was honest but I don't trust the services department. I think the tires are good and I think he's trying to get me to pay more for something that shouldn't be necessary quite just yet. I bought the car from the same business a month before I got the oil changed at that same business. More
I think the management of the service dept is solid but they seem to turnover a decent amount of service advisors. Most recently, we ordered a part that needed replacement and it took about 2 months to ar they seem to turnover a decent amount of service advisors. Most recently, we ordered a part that needed replacement and it took about 2 months to arrive. During that time there wasn't a lot of communication about the ETA and even after the 1st advisor left, no one called or reached out. I will say that once I spoke to a manager the process went smoother but not faster. I know they are at the whim of MOPAR but 2 months felt like a long time. When there was another delay in the last week of the wait for the part, they did find an alternative source for one that they could get sooner. This was appreciated. They actual replacement service was quick and the part is functioning well. More
went to this dealership in order to repair the check engine light. I had 4 codes popping up for the check engine light. I was quoted $4,743.56 to complete the repairs necessary to eliminate the error engine light. I had 4 codes popping up for the check engine light. I was quoted $4,743.56 to complete the repairs necessary to eliminate the error codes. I received the vehicle back and 1 out of the four codes I was originally quoted for (P20EE) {See page 2 of original invoice and Page 1 of additional invoice} repopulated after a day of driving. When I took the vehicle to ADEQ, they notified me the vehicle had not been driven long enough after repairs were completed for the code to reappear, please see attached ADEQ document 1). I contacted dealer immediately after emissions failure and requested a loaner as I had already waited 4 days for repairs and diagnosis. After waiting nearly a month to receive a loaner vehicle to address the still existing error code (P20EE), they quoted me an additional $4,208.91 to repair the issue. I have in good faith, contacted their service manager, their general manager as well as the corporate office for Autonation trying to find a resolution to their misdiagnosis/ underdiagnosis of my vehicle and failure to make me aware of all possible scenarios regarding error code P20EE. I was never made aware there was a possibility of another $4,000+ expenditure or I would have never gotten the original work of $4,700 done as my vehicle is only valued at $14,439 (2017 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel Crew Cab 118K w/ lemon title) per KBB. I know to some people that $8,500 isn't a lot of money. But for me and my family it is massive. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company until this issue has been resolved by the dealership. My advice, go somewhere else if you value honest upfront costs and want someone willing to accept the consequences of their own mistakes as opposed to putting it onto the customer. More
Had a service appointment. Car was not looked at for 6 DAYS...no call from service advisor to update regarding status. Can't recommend AutoNation on Bell Road for service.
