Matt the service tech had said the part for my Gladiator had come in after I have been waiting since September 2021 for it. So I brought the car in so the rear seat could be fixed, I had a vacation on the w had come in after I have been waiting since September 2021 for it. So I brought the car in so the rear seat could be fixed, I had a vacation on the weekend that he asked me to bring my car in, but I wanted ti get the car fixed. I brought the truck to be fixed and Matt had told me it would be fixed in 2-3 days, so I rented a car for those 3 days (since Autonation is not lending lowners). On the 3rd day I go to get my car and it has not been fixed, Matt had ordered me the wrong part and I have been waiting since September for this part. Matt tells me he’s going to reorder the part for me and it should take a week to be delivered to the dealer this was on the weekend of March 17th and today is May 6 and I still have not heard from Matt. Things went normal during the ordering process - actually, they went splendidly. Issues did not arise until time to pick up. IT - unbeknownst to her IT had updated her computer, which required her to run away the dealership using multiple other terminals, which made the simple process much more time consuming. Two days after taking possession, I was notified the PDI Mechanic did not install a part. This required me to bring it back to the dealership to have the part installed. While installing it I had an opportunity to look at the instructions and noticed he had installed it backwards. I pointed it out to him, and his response was "If you want it that way, I can change it." He then looked at me and waited for guidance. I told him this was his job and his specialty, but I would feel more comfortable if it was done in accordance with the instructions. My summation - I would come back to buy another car but only from Kim because I trust her. I do NOT want to bring my car here for repairs - I do not trust them. If I was able to see this mistake at my limited skill level what other issues have, and will, occur that went unnoticed? More
