My overall experience with AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Southwest was great, however, there were some small bumps in the road. The initial discussions with my sales rep were fine, and I had already done a lot of research online before I reached out. I had a good idea of what I was looking for and setup a time to do a test drive. When I arrived, they already had both trucks ready to go. After the test drives, I did the remaining discussions from home and asked for a best price / OTD for the truck I was most interested in. This is were things got bumpy. I find it frustrating when never discussed or disclosed add-ons, both physical and made up, get added onto your quote. Don't get me wrong, some add-ons do have value, such as window tint, PPF, etc., but I would rather have the opportunity to request them, vs. having to go back and forth with the dealership on having them removed. Thankfully, AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Southwest removed the add-ons without issue, even though they did do window tint and ppf on the hood, and I was able to negotiate a great price on the truck. As for my trade-in value, they were lower than other local AutoNation brand dealerships, but they quickly matched those quotes without complaint. When I arrived to finish up the deal, my sales rep, who was fantastic, made the process quick and easy and the finance department didn't try any hard sell tactics on warranties, protections, etc., and I was done in a little over an hour and a half. I would definitely work with them again in the future. More

Within just a few months, the vehicle has broken down twice — both times leaving my family in extremely dangerous situations on the road. The dealership claimed the car was inspected, repaired, and “safe for my family.” That was a lie. The most recent breakdown happened while my wife was driving on the highway during rush hour, putting her in imminent danger. Now I’ve been told the engine is likely completely blown — on a Mazda only a few years old. This is the definition of a lemon and a dealership that refuses to stand behind what they sell. Selling a defective vehicle and covering themselves with an extended warranty is unacceptable, unsafe, and unethical. If you value your money, your safety, and your family’s well-being, do not buy from this dealership. I wish I had read reviews like this before trusting them. More
