Overall, dealing with Phil was very pleasant, I had email exchanges with him that were very specific and detailed, and the price was very reasonable. I contacted 8 dealerships in Colorado and Phil came in a exchanges with him that were very specific and detailed, and the price was very reasonable. I contacted 8 dealerships in Colorado and Phil came in approximately $1,000 lower than the others, on average. The sale proceeded quickly and Phil covered everything before, during and after the sale. The detailing folks missed a tag on the windshield, and forgot to remove a bit of sticky material on the windshield as well, but I consider this to be a non-issue, since I can remove it later myself. One minor issue was that the F&I representative (unfortunately, I cannot remember his name) was a bit pushy on the up-selling of coverage options that I did not need, especially on an all-cash purchase. The process was otherwise decently professional and quick, however. This was not enough to sour the entire purchase though, since everything else was above-board and everyone else was very friendly and helpful. More
Charles Clampett gives car salesmen a GOOD name. He understands the concepts of customer service and satisfaction better than most. I have visited multiple dealers and internet sites to familiarize myself with the new 2011 3500 Laramie's. I figured out the exact truck I wanted and then the games began. I started dealing with some of the other dealerships out there and doing the usual haggling for the lowest dollar amount(you know the price that doesn't leave you feeling like you've been violated as soon as you leave the dealership).After multiple trips back and forth between dealerships and even talking to other dealerships out of state, I "thought" I had found the best deal(3 weeks of wasted time).A friend of mine told me I really needed to visit "Go Southwest Dodge". I figured I'm already in this 3 weeks and alot of time and gas.....What the heck. Again "Wow". I walked into one of the friendliest, most knowledgeable,no pressure dealerships I have ever dealt with. I was greeted by a gentleman named Matt with a firm handshake(firm handshakes tell you alot about a person).Matt asked me what I was looking for and as soon as I said a Diesel Truck he called Kenny in, Kenny was hands down the most familair Cummins-Diesel Sales-person I have ever dealt with. As soon as he was done telling me what a great selection I was making and explaining why "this" was a great choice or why "that" wasn't really needed I decided on the truck.....Next here comes Charles. Within 5 minutes Charles found the truck in Colorado Springs that "THEY" would go pick-up for me and bring back to the dealership. Looks like all we have to do is make a deal on the price. I had told them I hated the haggling and the back and forth of the price so Charles said give me 5 minutes....He came back with a $$ amount that if I would have even tried to talk him down anymore I would have felt like I was violating them. They saved me "THOUSANDS" of dollars over my best offer of 3 weeks of research.Next came Don to complete the transaction with all the dreaded paper work and financing details.....We started talking about motorcycles and what not and in a blink of an eye I was the proud owner of a 2011 Ram 3500 Laramie. I am taking time to write this review because they took time with me to make buying a new vehicle what it should be...."A Great Experience". Thanks Guy's. More
Great from start to finish. We have bought cars from other dealers and continue to go back here as they are the best. My wife is very pickey and knows what she wants. I think this was probably my best experience purchasing a vehicle. Andrew greeted us early on, helped us find vehicles fitting our needs and was superb in helping us get the right one. I did all the research myself, for about six months, trying to figure out exactly what I wanted, considering I am spending mmoney I wanted to get the best for my money. I knew the vehicle inside and out, down to every bell and whistle each model of the Grand Cherokee. I found the vehicle I wanted on the internet and watched it for a couple of weeks, just to be sure I was sure I wanted to make the move. Finally, I called Go SouthWest and asked specifically for the internet sales department. I was immediately connected to Phil St. Romain, who took the information of the vehicle I was interested in. He confirmed that all the details listed on the internet were indeed on the car I was interested in; he physically walked out to the car and checked the things I was interested in. We spoke a bit about my trade (Phil KNEW his stuff, about many models of cars, specifically my rarer car) and I let him know that I was educated on the Grand Cherokee. He commended my knowledge of the brand, rather than just assuming I had no idea what I was talking about (which turned me off of several dealerships in my research mode). He treated me like a human being, and more than that, a valued client, rather than pressuring me to do anything, or believing I was just a stupid girl. He didn't over talk or try to over connect to me, but cared about who I was and served me well. A great balance. He was very clear about their process of trades, giving me an extremely acurate trade value sight-unseen. He ran everything, giving me a menu of terms and was quick to do so. I traveled 250 miles from Grand Junction to Denver just to do business with this dealership. They took great care of me. He allowed me to enjoy my experience, but were quick to get all of my information in, get my loan processed and in and out of the door in about three hours. The loan department and paperwork process were seamless and fun. I will be doing business with this dealership again, and would recommend to any family member, friend or anyone in need of a fabulous Jeep (and any of their other brands). Highly recommend Phil St. Romain and all the team he works with. Plus, they have great, fresh popcorn... Just and added bonus. ;) More
