I had purchased a hemi dodge challenger 8 months ago along with a tire warranty. Earlier this week I had a flat tire so I took it in to have it replaced. Since I commute very far everyday and frequently along with a tire warranty. Earlier this week I had a flat tire so I took it in to have it replaced. Since I commute very far everyday and frequently use the power of the car I asked for the tire be replaced. (They had said it could be patched but who buys a warranty for a patched tire?) When I came in today I found out the tire was indeed patched. I had asked the service advisor as I was leaving if it was safe because I frequently use the power of the car and commute far. He assured me it “should be safe”. It’s well known patched tires lose their speed rating per the manufacturer. I have a “high performance” car that it’s no longer safe to use at “high performance”. I have a warranty that’s essentially useless to boot. To be candid, I’m tempted to file a motion in small claims court. I’ll see how this company responses first. More
