I was very disappointed with my service visit. I’d scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday, however, my car wasn’t even looked at until the following Friday (9 days later). And don’t tell me that’s company policy, because policies can be changed. It’s just a stupid process that needs to be fixed. Also, I understand staffing levels are low, but again, that’s not my problem, you should figure that into your scheduling process. I would have been happy to wait another week to drop my car off. Autonation had my Jeep in for major repairs for 3 months! It was super frustrating, but they were great. The problems were, first of all, the supply chain issues we have all gotten used to. Second of all, my insurance company apparently has the usual staffing issues that we have also gotten used to. The last of the required parts showed up earlier this week, and it took too much back-and-forth with insurance to finally get this claim fully covered. Shout out to Ben Johnson, assistant service manager, who was super cooperative and communicative, and stayed on top of the supply chain and insurance. Thanks, Ben! More
