Although sales and finance are quick to serve and communicative, be sure to sue your due diligence. Look for the AutoNation folder in the vehicle when shopping that claims the truck or car was inspected and with a copy of the results inside. Took delivery without having the vehicle inspected as I’ve bought from AutoNation in the past and felt they were 100%, and backed by a National brand. This time though, a week after purchase both batteries registered completely dead. I understand they were working at time of delivery and batteries are considered maintenance and not warrantable. I inquired but they said they wouldn’t replace the batteries. Cost to replace two batteries for my truck was over $500. I later remembered there wasn’t an AutoNation inspection folder in the truck when I bought it. Also, I signed everything a day before I took delivery and I had to call to hunt down a copy of the paperwork a week later. I needed to transfer my specialty plates and this wasn’t communicated clearly on the process to do so, so I had to do some side research and get with them for answers. I also didn’t receive a copy of the warranty paperwork with the other paperwork so I’ll need to call again. Trucks and cars are flying off the lot, they sell themselves, and I’m thinking maybe they don’t feel the need to go above and beyond with service like they used to, or they’re just too busy and rushed to be as accommodating. The truck is amazing, I felt the 1Price Guarantee was very reasonable, and I’m very happy with the purchase itself.
