Absolutely horrible! Ford AutoNation Katy dealership is going to deal with the FTC now…yes people, you can report deceptive trade practices of scam auto repair and sales… start using your tax dollars to st going to deal with the FTC now…yes people, you can report deceptive trade practices of scam auto repair and sales… start using your tax dollars to stop this behavior. The service advisor sent me a text “SCREAMING in ALL caps at his customers” Unprofessional at its best. Ford Motor Company Jim Farley you may want to reevaluate your contractual agreement with AutoNation and how they treat their customers. They carry your name and brand. I’ve driven FORD all my life, purchased at LEAST 7 Ford vehicles in my adult life, 3 at this location. I called Ford customer service 3 times and they closed my case WITHOUT escalation to senior customer service management as requested to truly investigate this issue, which could have been detrimental if it were something else wrong with the vehicle that could have cost a life. I NEVER received a phone call back to discuss before I agreed to have the work authorized, then threatened and a day later claim the loaner had been sold. 4 months I drove on a transmission that was and I’m alleging that they knowingly was bad, after parts were replaced I paid for DID NOT FIX the problem. They did NOT stand by their warranty. I was turned away twice after the engine light came on each TIME bringing the vehicle back the vehicle STILL was not fixed, doing the same thing I initially reported. All they did was say it was BAD GAS AND THE ROUTINE MAINTRNANCE WAS DONE POORLY, AKA SPARK PLUGS and routine maintenance 🙄. Yet the FIRST TECHNICIAN didn’t “catch that”… ummmm? The third time I brought in the dealership AFTER AGAIN THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON told me they were calling “corporate” Ford Motor Company Engineering Design Center to “diagnose” the car. The dealership had it 8 days to diagnose, YET NOTHING and sent on my way, still in the same condition I brought it in. No calls, no nothing in those 8 days. I had to call from a Chicago Airport to check on my car… NOT DIAGNOSED OR FIXED, still a MONTH later NO ANSWER FROM “FORD CORPORATE ENGINEERING”! Ummmm? I never got a strait answer about that outcome..did they even contact Ford? The 4th time and last time, the Ford dealer technician RODE with me in the vehicle and it took 15 minutes to determine it was the TORQUE CONVERTER AND I NEEDED A WHOLE NEW OVERHAUL COSTING $5800 ADDITIONAL DOLLARS TO REPAIR. Why did your technician not diagnose the problem CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME? AFTER ALL, THE DEALERSHIP CLAIMED THEY HAD 25 years EXPERIENCE? Yet your “investigation” was not sufficient and passed along and CLOSED…THEY ARE IN BREACH OF CONTRACT AND REFUSE TO HONOR THE WARRANTY ON THE WORK WHICH DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. Was it because I was a “dumb blonde female”? MORE TO COME… questions, questions and more questions??? Oh, one more thing… when I brought it in the 4th, I ask them to fixed the CRITICAL RECALL” on the TOE LINKS! THEY DIDNT DO IT!! On top of that my special needs sons handicapped placards we’re missing out of the console after they dropped off my car. Despicable. They were in my car when I dropped it off! Whoever took them, they should be reminded..ITS A CRIME! More
Brand new truck was making an odd noise. They didn't play the "I can't hear it" or "that is normal" game. It turned out to be a bolt/bushing wasn't seated right. Took around a week and two trips to get it so the "I can't hear it" or "that is normal" game. It turned out to be a bolt/bushing wasn't seated right. Took around a week and two trips to get it sorted out. Note: They don't go dumb with the oil level. Other dealerships (HUB) in the area seem to think an extra quart or two of oil is a good thing (it isn't - can be as be a low oil). They put it right where it needs to be at the top of the full marker. More

My only interaction with Auto Nation Ford is with the service department. Prior to a management change my experience was less than satisfying. Since then the service department has dramatically and notic service department. Prior to a management change my experience was less than satisfying.
