The mechanic made a video and came to me in person to show me a problem he discovered, thanks to customer service rep Renae Whitehead. She's excellent at her job! show me a problem he discovered, thanks to customer service rep Renae Whitehead. She's excellent at her job! More

AutoNation Ford Lincoln Orange Park is very poorly equipped and organized to efficiently and timely do any type of service on a motorhome built on a Ford truck chassis. In my case it is a motorhome o equipped and organized to efficiently and timely do any type of service on a motorhome built on a Ford truck chassis. In my case it is a motorhome on a Ford F-53 chassis. Any service appointment takes up to 4 weeks to complete from the date they tell you to bring in it. This is not because of waiting for parts, but because they only have one usable lift and way too much backlog. Instead of suspending appointments and working the backlog off, they continue to accept service appointments they cannot timely fulfill. The technicians also seem ill-equipped or insufficiently trained to understand all the chassis requirements and nuisances of an RV on a Ford chassis. Many services were done haphazardly, and several follow-on issues were completely missed. This caused me to have to bring the vehicle back for repairs several times that should have been handled the first time.! There is also a lack of management oversite and control in connection with warranty claims. Technicians are given the final say on claims. A warranty is a legal contract and document. Technicians may know their way around the mechanics of a vehicle, but not the legal nuisances of a complicated contractual document and obligation such as a warranty. My particular problem was denied warranty coverage by a technician without Management's involvement, despite my several requests to get them involved. Don't bring your RV here, you will be very frustrated, disappointed and most likely overpay for service! More
