I received a recall notice and called the # on the notice to schedule an appt. In my world when I made the appointment and told them why I was coming in they should have ordered the part and set aside howeve to schedule an appt. In my world when I made the appointment and told them why I was coming in they should have ordered the part and set aside however long it was going to take to fix the problem so that when I arrived at 8:30 AM for my appointment the part would’ve been there and the tech was waiting. Instead I arrived and was told it would take three days. I told Renee that was totally unacceptable to me. She said it was standard procedure for that recall. I left my car and told him to please call me and let me know what the best time they could do it for me was. she called me 15 minutes after I left and told me that it would be 48 hours at the most. Lo and behold it was ready the next afternoon. This is why I hate this service department and refuse to take my car there for regular maintenance. More

I was in south Florida at a RV dealership, when I went to leave my truck would not start. Lucky for me there were Diesel Mechanics at the dealership that got my truck started. They told me exactly what was w leave my truck would not start. Lucky for me there were Diesel Mechanics at the dealership that got my truck started. They told me exactly what was wrong with the truck and when I got home to tell the service writer at the dealership what they found. I took the truck in as soon as we got home on a Friday, Saturday I realized I left some items in the truck I needed, we went to the dealership and they took me to my truck which was being worked on by a diesel mechanic. He told me both batteries were bad and it needed a new starter, nothing about what the mechanics found at the RV dealership. Eight days later I get a phone call saying the truck is ready for pick up, I go get it and the service writer gives me the paperwork and says to me there is NO CHARGE AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TRUCK !! NOTHING WRONG, The truck would not start, No turning over, Nothing, Completely Dead, the mechanic at the dealership told me both batteries were bad. The mechanics at the RV dealership found out what was bad on the truck on You Tube which told me that this was a common problem with my truck. I'm worried now that I will get stranded somewhere.
