Finance person failed to provide any signed paperwork to us as we left the dealership and when asked about it , he said it was being emailed to us and that the bank would give us a welcome packet in 2-3 wee us as we left the dealership and when asked about it , he said it was being emailed to us and that the bank would give us a welcome packet in 2-3 weeks. We had reached out to him several times to get , not the welcome packet, but the copies of the contract, bill of sale, gap insurance , promise to provide paperwork, and any of the other paperwork we signed the night of purchase on 2-21-23. It is now 3-17-23 and after speaking to him again, he guaranteed that we would be getting something from him no later that today via fed ex. And still we have nothing . This causes some suspicion and confusion , because any other time we have purchased a vehicle, we are always given a folder/packet with all of our copies of signed paperwork. We purchased the vehicle with a sticker price of 55,580 and signed paperwork with total cost of 60,000 and when we were notified by the bank of loan amount it was now over 66,000. Which is one of the reasons he should have provided us with the signed contract so we could have it , to question where the extra 6,000 we are getting charged came from. Not happy with the way we were treated by Charlie Madnikoff at this location of AutoNation. I feel he needed to be more clear and prompt in handling this matter. Which by the way is still left unresolved. More
I took my car in to Autonation ford for a scheduled Alignment. I was checked in by Adam Solano. He was friendly and professional. He got me checked in, asked if I had any questions and how soon I neede Alignment. I was checked in by Adam Solano. He was friendly and professional. He got me checked in, asked if I had any questions and how soon I needed my vehicle back. I told him As soon as possible. He also asked if I needed a ride home or if I was going to stay. I had someone picking me up so he ensured he had the correct phone number to contact me. I dropped my car off at 8 AM, I received the call notifying me my car was ready at 11:54 AM. I was very pleased to have my car back within half a day. More
Overworked. Understaffed. Usually a good dealership, but our last 10 day excursion was a complete waste of time. My truck works. It’s not a luxury that just sits Understaffed. Usually a good dealership, but our last 10 day excursion was a complete waste of time. My truck works. It’s not a luxury that just sits around. So when I drop it off for 10 days, I expect work to actually be done on it. The manager, who is normally very helpful and goes above and beyond, just left it at not being able to get ahold of the extended warranty company. And so the problem never got fixed, and I didn’t have my ONLY VEHICLE OUT IN ELIZABETH for 10 full days. Not only that, but we had the added irritation of having to schedule rides to and from the dealership to drop it off and pick it up. Adam was also not very communicative on this occasion. Normally, I would get calls and texts keeping me updated. This time, we went for many days just hearing nothing, and that happened three times for the duration of this last repair that never happened. It was frustrating, for sure. Not sure if we will take it back to them or try to find a local place that will actually make us a priority. One last thing, when I picked up my vehicle, it had clearly just been sitting on their lot in a snow storm. It had not been cleaned at all and had about 12” of snow and ice covering the hood and roof. The lot tech had to just scrape a small spot off the windshield so he could see out. It was not safe to send me on the road like that. I stopped nearby and cleaned it off and defrosted all the windows. I picked it up right before close. There was really no one else around. Could no one have gotten it ready, knowing I was going to be there that night to get it? More
