I scheduled a warranty service for a national recall over a month ago. Fast forward to today, I get there for my appointment early, and yet still found myself waiting an additional 35 minutes passed my sched a month ago. Fast forward to today, I get there for my appointment early, and yet still found myself waiting an additional 35 minutes passed my scheduled appointment time all because the service writer that was assigned to me decided to stand outside the glass doors ogling over another customers truck with the other service writers. When I was finally acknowledged, because I decided to ask what the delay was, KNOWING the reason already, the service writer decides to walk in. Mind you I was there for a SAFETY RECALL on brake lines and airbags, and I even requested to have my tires balanced and rotated for an additional cost, the SW didn't even know why I was there. Again, I scheduled the appointment a month ago for the work that was supposed to be done. He was still "lost in the sauce". Fast forward to 3 hours later, and I get a phone call from said SW saying they can't remove my lug nuts because they are "swollen". Mind you I put them on by hand and according to spec. Yet they can't remove the nuts with the pneumatic tools?? So instead he tries selling me a set of lug nuts for $375. No, I refuse, next! Fast forward a little more, I get to rhe dealership and have to wait around AGAIN while said SW is again ogling over another customers truck, revving the engine just to hear the turbo charger sound from that customers truck like kids. All the while I'm waiting for my car to even be dropped from the lift. They finally bring me my vehicle for the SW just to tell me that the recall wasn't even serviced because there were no parts available for said recall. What?! A MONTH youve known about the work and couldn't even coordinate to have the necessary parts or even called me to give the heads up? So instead you have me waste time and gasoline(which is scarce currently in Miami) and couldn't even had the decency to tell me about the work not done unless I has asked about it. The SW then tells me I'd have to wait an additional 4 months for some simple brake hoses?? Seriously??! How is that possible? And you couldnt even remove lug nuts with your air powered pknematuv tools? But you can definitely try to sell me a new set of nuts and bolts right? Nope! I feel honestly, cheated and like my actual concerns were just brushed off like nothing. More
Steven, the associate was super helpful and explained all the work that needed to be done. He was approachable and funny. Wish 1 hadn’t waited quite so long. the work that needed to be done. He was approachable and funny. Wish 1 hadn’t waited quite so long. More
Hector was very nice. The problem is that this is a corporation that is operating in deceptive trade practices. AutoNation has dealerships all over Florida. So when you l The problem is that this is a corporation that is operating in deceptive trade practices. AutoNation has dealerships all over Florida. So when you locate a vehicle that might not be a local lot, expect to pay to have the vehicle moved and negotiate with your local dealership on price. You will not be afforded the opportunity to purchase the vehicle through your local dealer, at least if it’s Miami Autonation Ford. Than this location. Also advertises vehicles without listing the stipulation on their price, only to quote a higher price for hem you get to the dealer. Like I wrote in the beginning, everyone I spoke to was very nice and professional. The company they work for Is deceptive. More
