Tyler Rush is my Service Advisor, he did an excellent job keeping me informed throughout the entire process and kept his team engaged with my needs. The parts specialist Ray went above & beyond to explain wh keeping me informed throughout the entire process and kept his team engaged with my needs. The parts specialist Ray went above & beyond to explain what will be replaced, he even sent me in process photos from his cell phone just so I would have a clear understanding of the location of the parts that were being replaced inside my motor. Jerry the service manager always spoke to me with a hand shake and a smile when I walked in the facility (even before the bay doors were open one morning). Ray, Tyler and Jerry are a huge asset to the automotive industry, and I can tell they truly share a passion to inspire every customer to be a promoter for Autonation Ford for life!! More
Had 2016 Explorer towed to dealership with broken water pump. I had called ahead and made an appointment so they were expecting me. Received confirmation email of my appointment. Was assigned an “adviser”. pump. I had called ahead and made an appointment so they were expecting me. Received confirmation email of my appointment. Was assigned an “adviser”. Was told they would call Monday with estimate, etc since it arrived late afternoon on a Friday. Monday came and went so i called dealership on Tuesday. Gave name, number. They had no recollection or info that my vehicle was even there. So they call back 30 minutes later having found my car on their property and said it would be $5200 to repair water pump and timing chain. $5200. Told them do not touch. I called mechanics and other local Ford dealers. EVERYONE including other Ford places were at least $2000 less. I asked for an itemized quote from dealer. His initial reaction was “that’s a lot of boxes to fill in so it may be a while.” The first written quote was literally two boxes - one with parts and the other labor. Both of which he had already given me over the phone. When i clarified that itemized meant by each item’s price, i finally received an itemized quote. After two days of researching, i called Ford to notify them that a tow truck was coming to take elsewhere based on crazy high quote. Adviser asked if he could try to work it down some with the manager before i officially decided to have it towed elsewhere so i agreed. He came back with a quote of $3500. How do you justify the initial $5200 quote then just knocking it down to 3500. Why wasn’t that offered in the first place? Still higher than other Ford places. So called the morning of that the tow truck was coming. Left a voicemail for my adviser and then called back and spoke with a person in the same department to let them know to expect the tow that morning. When tow truck company arrived, he said he was told they were unaware that he was coming and he said they took 45 minutes just to fund my keys. My entire experience was frustrating, time consuming, and down right unprofessional. More
So I was contacted about a certain vehicle,Went down to the dealership and looked at the car but there was some issues which I told the salesman I would pass on it,He continue to look around after I left w the dealership and looked at the car but there was some issues which I told the salesman I would pass on it,He continue to look around after I left which he then texted me an said he found one in Atlanta and can have it shipped to his store by Tuesday. That was it no more contact and it is now Thursday.I texted back twice but no reply. So my guess is there was not to much profit to be made with my opinion. But thanks for reminding me that big deanship don't care about the poor ones. I love my Ford Expedition, I wish they had a better organized service department. They "Scheduled" my recall correction knowing they don't even have the parts to repair it. Left my car for a day and it organized service department. They "Scheduled" my recall correction knowing they don't even have the parts to repair it. Left my car for a day and it wasn't even looked at. Why schedule an appointment??? More
