had an extremely poor experience with AutoNation Ford in Torrance, California! I made an appointment to get my car serviced, and they have a smog check which I need to get immediately. I was assured that it Torrance, California! I made an appointment to get my car serviced, and they have a smog check which I need to get immediately. I was assured that it would take less than two hours and more like an hour to hour and a half to get my car serviced. I was also assured by at least four different people that they would do the smog check for me which I need for my DMV registration. I even took the time to call back and double check twice that they were going to provide the smog check. I showed up at the dealership at my appointed time at 10:30 AM, and they were already backed up significantly and behind schedule. I was informed that they no longer do smog checks. And the service attendant really didn’t seem to care that I was upset, and didn’t get that. It was a big deal that I taken my morning to drive down There only to find out I couldn’t get the smog check which is the primary reason I wanted to go and get serviced. Then I found out it was gonna take at least four hours to get my oil changed in a basic servicing done, after they told me when I scheduled the appointment that it would be less than half that Time. They let me down on the servicing appointment and on the smog check and worse than that they really didn’t seem to care too much. I’ll never go back to this dealership again and I’d recommend that you stay away from them as well. If you go there for servicing, you’ll end up waiting and there’s a good chance you won’t get the work done that you expected to have done. These people are horrible. More
I don’t usually post reviews like this, but after weeks of unanswered calls, emails, and in-person visits, I feel compelled to share my experience. I purchased a used Nissan Maxima from AutoNation Ford of unanswered calls, emails, and in-person visits, I feel compelled to share my experience. I purchased a used Nissan Maxima from AutoNation Ford Torrance on May 17th. The very next day, I took it to a Nissan Dealership for a thorough inspection where they identified serious suspension issues, including a cracked front control arm and a broken rear control arm. Nissan provided video documentation of both defects. AutoNation Ford Torrance did their own inspection and said they would fix the back, but not the front indicating the front was "cracked" not broken. I decided to return the vehicle and have spent weeks trying to obtain information regarding my refund and the return of funds to Navy Federal. Despite multiple calls, email, messages, and visits to the dealership, I have received little communication, no callback from management, and no meaningful update regarding my money. The dealership has had possession of the vehicle since May 19th, and more than $14,000 remains unresolved between my down payment and financing proceeds. I’m not looking for special treatment. I’m looking for communication, accountability, and the return of funds that should have been addressed long ago. At this point, I am exploring my options through consumer protection and regulatory channels in hopes of finally obtaining a resolution. More

When arrived to my service appointment no one came out to greet me. Had to wait 20 minutes till someone approached me and ask if I needed assistance. Service adviser gave me an estimated time of complet greet me. Had to wait 20 minutes till someone approached me and ask if I needed assistance. Service adviser gave me an estimated time of completion of two hours for an oli change and tire rotation. Job took longer than that (Three hours). Technician brought my vehicle to wash bay and was sitting there for 20 minutes with no one doing anything to it. Car wash Technician wasn't around anywhere. So vehicle never got washed. (Which I don't mind) would have preferred to have my car returned to me sooner and go about my day, than seeing it just parked with no one doing anything to it. Service adviser never reached out to me to give me any type of update on my vehicle. I had to go over to his office and request and update. Really bad experience since arrival. Mind you I live in south gate and had to drive 45 min to Autonation Ford Torance to have an oil change done and have this type of experience. More
My service appointment on Saturday, February 14, was scheduled for 8:30 a.m. I arrived just before that time, but it still took approximately 40 minutes to get checked in, despite there being only three scheduled for 8:30 a.m. I arrived just before that time, but it still took approximately 40 minutes to get checked in, despite there being only three or four customers ahead of me. I requested the 10,000‑mile service for my 2025 Bronco Outer Banks and asked that the tires be rotated, including rotating in the spare. Because my spare has a tire cover, I offered to reinstall the cover myself so the technician wouldn’t need to. The service advisor assured me the technicians would handle everything and documented on the service record that the spare would be rotated in. At 2:14 p.m., I received a call informing me the service was complete and that my vehicle was ready for pickup. The checkout process was much quicker, and the advisor had the paperwork prepared, indicating that all requested services were completed and no issues were found. However, once I arrived home, I inspected the tires and discovered that the original spare had not been rotated in—it was still mounted on the tailgate. While I understand this is a relatively small issue, I specifically requested that the spare be included in the rotation, was told it would be done, and the service documentation reflects that it was completed. Yet in reality, it was not. This is not the first issue I’ve experienced with the AutoNation Ford Torrance service department since purchasing my Bronco last summer. At this point, I no longer feel confident that I can trust them to service my vehicle properly. More
