My wife came in on 8/12 for a routine maintenance for a 2008 Honda Pilot. She also asked to have her brakes checked. My wife iformed the advisor that she needed to leave at noon. She asked if that would be 2008 Honda Pilot. She also asked to have her brakes checked. My wife iformed the advisor that she needed to leave at noon. She asked if that would be a problem. She assured that it would not. The service advisor said that it would take 45 min to check the brake system. The routine maintenance should take only an hour and 15 minutes. After 1 and 1/2 hour, my wife went to look for the service advisor to see what was going on with the car. I was informed that they were still looking at the brakes and were almost finished. She told me she would get back to me in 15 minutes. She came back in 15 minutes and said that brake pads were OK, but they did not finish checking the master cylinder. However, they checked into other parts of the car. She said that the power steering pump was leaking. The rear shocks were leaking. An outer belt was cracked and needed to be replaced. She claimed that this would take several thousand to fix. All I asked for was to have the brakes checked. After 2.5 hrs later after I initially checked in, she said that they would finally be able to get around to the routine maintenance matter that I asked them to do in the first place. She told me it would take an hour and a half longer, even after I have waited several hours already to get the routine maintenance checked. After 4 hours of waiting, I went looking for the car and the advisor. Finally, I got hold of her. She angrily told me that I was not waiting in the assigned area(I did not know there was one) for people getting servicing on their vehicle. Apparently, I was waiting in the sales lobby area and I was not supposed to do that. She told me that they finished the routine maintenance but they were not able to finish checking the brake system after 4 hours of waiting. We have used San Tan Honda for our servicing needs for many years, and we were very disappointed by our most recent experience at Autonation Honda. We will definitely shop around when we need to get the vehicle serviced in the future. More

Worst car buying experience ever! We called Gary on a Saturday to talk to him about a used vehicle on the website. He said it was getting a scratch fixed in the shop and would be back early in the week. Saturday to talk to him about a used vehicle on the website. He said it was getting a scratch fixed in the shop and would be back early in the week. He said to come in on Sunday to find out more about the vehicle. Gary was busy on Sunday so we were told to talk with Geoff about the truck. Prices still the same on their website for this vehicle-Geoff says other people want the vehicle too, but no one had placed any deposit on it yet. Geoff said, "To be fair there was an other potential buyer that Gary has, and they should let them have the first opportunity to see it and buy it." Vehicle wasn't expected to be back for 2 days(Tuesday). Monday afternoon, my husband gets a call that the vehicle is in-hurry down. What happened to the other couple that was promised first chance at this truck?? Husband leaves work immediately to finally see this used truck. Guess what?--the prices have now gone up on the vehicle-both the retail price and the internet price. Now there is no dealing on the price as there is too much interest in the vehicle. The truck has a slight power steering leak and needs new cv boots, but the good news is the scratch was fixed??? Husband test drove the truck, agreed to the raised price, and was willing to repair the leak and boots. Our credit was checked and approved and loan paperwork was started. Gary comes in and asks Geoff for the keys, because he promised somebody to let them see this vehicle. Geoff seemed uncomfortable about it, but gave Gary the keys anyway. Paperwork is still being filled out, Gary comes back and told my husband, "This is the worst part about my job." He proceeded to tell my husband the truck was just sold to another buyer for cash. Was this because Gary didn't want to split a commission with Geoff-standard operating procedure for lack of customer service-or rogue salesmen at their best? It was shocking to find any dealer who treats customers in this fashion! My husband spoke with the manager on duty, Shane, who was astounded that this could occur. He would investigate this further and would have someone call tomorrow. Charlie, an internet manager, called my husband the next day to say he was sorry this happened but that is not how they normally operate. When my husband asked to set up a meeting with the dealership owner to discuss this, Charlie said it wouldn't be necessary because he was handling the apology. We are still waiting for the owner of the dealership to call to explain how this could happen. Since it has been almost a month ago, we can't help but presume this is AutoNation's standard method of salesmanship. If you want to experience what we did-raised prices from what was posted on the internet, no negotiation on price, or no accountability for customer service, then run-don't walk-to get to AutoNation's SanTan Honda Superstore. You won't be disappointed! More
Bruce was very easy to work with throughout the process. Ken Welsh was an excellent person to deal with as well. Great car, great service and great price! After negotiating a deal with an amazing salesman (Seth Morris), he turned the finance over to the Asst. General Manager, Chris Rodriguez. Chris was cocky, sarcastic, and moved around numbers, hoping we w Morris), he turned the finance over to the Asst. General Manager, Chris Rodriguez. Chris was cocky, sarcastic, and moved around numbers, hoping we wouldn't notice. Both my wife and I have graduate degrees in Finance and aren't swayed by an amateurs attempt at smoke and mirrors. We know we have excellent credit and weren't about to do business with a disreputable dealer who employs someone completely devoid of integrity. The very next day, I went to another Honda dealer and got a much better deal on an identical 2013 Accord. The moral of this story: stay clear of this dealer. Even though they might have a few good people, the leadership is nothing short of despicable. More
This dealership is not being honest. They made an appointment with us to see the car even they knew the car has already sold. We are new to the area and was pleasantly surprised by the dealership and employees. What an amazing place!!! We had a "recall" notice for our Ridgeline so we came to you. Everyone we came into contact wit the dealership and employees. What an amazing place!!! We had a "recall" notice for our Ridgeline so we came to you. Everyone we came into contact with was very curtious and helpful. Mike was amazing!!! He made us feel very comfortable at the beginning and he discussed the issue that we were there for and was very gracious and understanding to all the questions we put him through, (poor guy), but he answered all questions and told us of potential issues we could encounter should they not be addressed. He was very thourough and explained every detail to us so we could understand what he wa saying. We will deffinately reccomed HIM and the Dealership to others. The next time we come back there we will request Mike. Thank you, Ron and Ethel Adams More
