About 15 minutes later, Joseph came back to his office and said they were offering the amount I asked for the car. We shook hands, I told him I would be back with the title and extra key, then left to get those items. Within 10 minutes, I received a phone call from Joseph stating that they were reducing their offer by $1400. I told them no thanks, went to an independent dealer in Carrollton Selective Autoplex) and within less than 15 minutes had an offer and sale in the amount that Auto Nation had originally agreed to. My bad, I should have known better than to waste my time... More
24 hours before I arrived at the dealership I requested that someone email my financial arrangements so I would be prepared. At noon the same day checked and was told that I would receive them shortly. Nev that someone email my financial arrangements so I would be prepared. At noon the same day checked and was told that I would receive them shortly. Never heard back so the morning of my appointment, I spent 1 hour ironing that out. At the end it took one hour to inspect the car and put on the temp tag. Why couldn’t this have been done during the initial 2 hours, I don’t know. I ended spending 3 hours there for what should have taken one. My sales person was very nice as well as everyone else. My round trip to the dealership was 6 hours, so in total 9 hours. I communicated that I didn’t want to waste time at least 24 hours before my appointment and offered to provide any info that would expedite my visit. That certainly didn’t happen. More
I purchased a car last week and it was by far the most pleasant stress free experience car buying experience I've had in my 50+ years. Wolf was great in presenting the facts and sharing the cars features pleasant stress free experience car buying experience I've had in my 50+ years. Wolf was great in presenting the facts and sharing the cars features without all of the mafia like over selling you get so many places. Still checking in with me and working to get us a second key that was missing at purchase. Bobby in finance was also amazing. Just presented options, gave us lots of information, and then allowed us time to make our decisions, again without the massive sales pressure. I felt like everything I decision was informed but not forced. I will continue to use Autonation Honda in the future. More
Things have gone to xxxx in a hand basket. Phones not answered. I was told you had part which should have taken only minutes to install. Waited 3 1/2 hours with appointment and no part. Was as Phones not answered. I was told you had part which should have taken only minutes to install. Waited 3 1/2 hours with appointment and no part. Was asked to pay in advance for part which I did. Still nothing. I am up to $114 still no part and I’m told I will be charged labor in addition. More
Price and financing were fair. The process was smooth and low pressure. However, if a dealership is to be judged by how they handle an issue after the papers are signed, AutoNati The process was smooth and low pressure. However, if a dealership is to be judged by how they handle an issue after the papers are signed, AutoNation Honda Lewisville failed miserably. I purchased a used Nissan Leaf, full electric. New Nissan Leaf's come with a level one charger, but this is a used car, so I asked multiple times if the charger was included, and the salesman Dillon (Dion) assured me that he checked, and the vehicle did indeed come with the level one charger. He even showed me the bag with the charger inside. Close the deal and drive home only to find the bag contained the mounting bracket and accessories but no charger! The next day at the dealership Dion told me that his manager said it does not come with a charger after all and there was no way the dealership would cover the cost of a charger because my trade turned out to have mechanical issues and was going to auction. Obvious lie! There were no mechanical issues and my trade showed up on their site for sale two days later. Dion suggested I buy a used charger. I reminded him that he assured me that the charger was included and even confirmed it by showing me the bag it was supposedly in. I said they needed to make this right. At this point I guess my agitation was showing because he apologized profusely and offered to cover the cost of a used one, but it would take a couple weeks. I wasn’t happy about it, but I was able to find a used charger online, so I agreed to the arrangement. Two weeks later I can barely get in touch with Deon, and when I do, he gives me the runaround saying it would be another month or more before they could cover the cost of the used charger, then stops responding when I refuse to bite. Obviously at this point they never had any intention of keeping their word and the entire thing was a ruse to get me out the door so I wouldn't cause a scene. In summary, everything was great until the papers were signed. After that, it was one lie after another to get me out the door. More
The “service advisors” are terrible at returning calls to give update on cost of recommended service.
