tricked and was sold a six-year Honda Care "Sentinal" plan by portraying its bumper-to-bumper warranty and maintenance plan (VSC and Maintenance plan together). When I came home I saw its just Sentinal plan, and covers only oil-changes (and a few roadside and concierge services that I don't need). Basically, I didn't want Sentinal plan, and would not buy it for the price that I paid.
Christopher Douglas from finance deceived me with the below lies to trick me into it:
1. I can get a Honda Care plan only at the time of buying the car.
2. It can't be cancelled or refunded once bought.
3. It's a bumper-to-bumber warranty and maintenance plan.
I called Honda Care and found out that this is not true. They said they can cancel it and refund me full amount before 60 days, but it's not showing up yet on the system as it's not yet processed from dealer's side. So I should ask dealer to cancel it.
But I am trying to reach the dealer's finance department and no luck. I even left a message for Christopher but did not get a response.
The sales process was good and smooth, but dealing with finance department has left a bad after-taste and cost me money as well.
