I have been going to O'Hare Honda since 2001 and this is the first time I left there very unhappy. I had an 11 am appointment for an oil change and arrived on time. I told the service advisor I was going to take a walk instead of sitting in the waiting room. I returned an hour later at which time I received a call wherein she told me there were a few things to discuss about my car. I went to her desk and was advised that I needed brake fluid and transmission fluid changes in addition to shock leaks. I was apprehensive because I thought I was up to date on vehicle maintenance and was not advised about these items in previous visits, the most recent one being in July-2 months ago. I declined further service at this time and came home to check my previous receipts. I found that I last had the brake and transmission fluids changed at mileage 95648 and was now at 109180, less than 14K miles since these were last done. The advisor had printed up my service history and I felt they had just gone back to see what other services I could be hit up for. Additionally, my car wasn't released to me until 12:40pm--a one hour and 40 minute oil change. Not at all what I expected and didn't factor into my schedule for the day. In the meantime, I will probably have my shocks checked by someone else to see if they are really leaking. Very disappointed after all these years! More

The dealership wasn't crowded when we arrived. Had a hard time finding another dealership that had an appointment for an oil change that was less than 3 weeks out. Auto Nation had an appointment available in 2 days.
