I recently purchased a 2019 Mini Cooper Plug-In Hybrid from this dealership, AutoNation Honda of Renton, along with a supposed guarantee and a three-year extended warranty. Within weeks of the purchase, the vehicle developed a serious issue—it will not charge. I scheduled a service appointment online, only to have it rejected on the basis that no qualified technician was available on Saturdays to service hybrid vehicles. As a result, I was forced to take time off work to bring the car in on a weekday. Upon arrival, I provided a diagnostic report to assist, yet the assigned technician, Matthew Lopez, conducted his own evaluation and ultimately admitted he was not qualified to work on the vehicle. When I reminded him that the car was recently purchased and covered under warranty, he appeared unaware of this and stated he would “do what he needs to do,” even suggesting he might personally take the vehicle to a Mini dealership. After leaving my car in their possession for days without any communication, I reached out for an update—only to be told that I would need to retrieve the vehicle and take it to another dealership myself. This is completely unacceptable. I was explicitly told at the time of purchase that any warranty-covered repairs would be handled at this dealership. That representation now appears to have been misleading, if not outright false, and made solely to secure the sale. To make matters worse, I still have not received my license plates, despite multiple inquiries. This experience has been marked by a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic competence. If you are seeking knowledgeable staff and reliable service, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. More

I took my car in to have the breaks checked and while I was there decided to have much more work done. I initially planned to wait onsite but Luis offered an Uber to take me home and then bring me back wh was there decided to have much more work done. I had an oil change but the oil change tracker was not changed to 100% and still shows 40%. I also asked to have a taillight replaced 2 times because it was out and this was not done. I appreciate I was able to have more work done than planned but wish the taillight would have been done. More

I've had my car serviced in here, getting an appointment was so easy, you can call or do it online. Their knowledge of my car is extensive, and they take pictures and video of your car during the actual ser was so easy, you can call or do it online.
