I ended up getting a 2022 Honda HRV that I love, however I had an appointment to test drive a different HRV. The keys had been pulled and I was on my way to the dealership when another customer without an a I had an appointment to test drive a different HRV. The keys had been pulled and I was on my way to the dealership when another customer without an appointment came in and wanted to see the same vehicle. So they grabbed the keys from the salesman and allowed this person to test drive the car and they ended up buying it. This was very bad customer service. They should have told this other customer that I had an appointment to test drive and was already on my way to the dealership and they would have to wait until I tested drove it first. I can understand if the appointment was a lot later in the day or if I hadn't already been on my way, but I was and this was wrong to do to me. The other vehicle was same year, color, and trim but had 16K miles vs 41K miles. Again I love my car but this was very bad customer service. At Carmax if you make an appointment to test drive a vehicle, they reserve it for you and no one else can test drive the vehicle until after your appointment. I recommend that AutoNation does the same. This experience left me very disappointed and I'm not sure if I would recommend them or not. More
