Kevin Sinor worked with us for the credit check and apr phase and after an agreement was made he went to his supervisor my wife and I went to the restroom. When we came back he ushered us down the street t phase and after an agreement was made he went to his supervisor my wife and I went to the restroom. When we came back he ushered us down the street to the finance building. He left us with Malleck(?). Malleck was the finance worker who dealt with us during the financial phase. He attempted four times for me to purchase “protection” plans. During each time I pointed out that we’ve reached what we can afford to purchase the 2020 Tacoma already and would like to move to sign the deal. Each time he ignored me and continued with his pressures. I was ready to cancel the purchase entirely! He has also asked two different times because I declined on any vehicle protection plans 1) then why do we buy car insurance? 2) how many claims have we made throughout our car insurance history? For this question I said, one time. Then he said, why do you buy car insurance at all? Then he uses his so-called bogus kayak analogy when he went kayaking and his kayak keeps taking on water where he starts to submerge. He didn’t care about my thoughts when I repeatedly said that we’re maxed out on our finances, he just kept treading on pressuring me to buy protection plans. I’ve never experienced anything like this before and he was very unprofessional! He claims to have only been there 2-3 months but I think that was a ploy. When he finally stopped and we signed the contract, and after we dropped off Kevin back at the used-car department, on our way home on highway 65 and Nelson Lane I realized that they did not fill up the gas tank. It was under under a quarter tank! About two days later I realized that Kevin never gave me the remote control to the winch. I called their office three times and didn’t get a response but did reach someone who told me to leave a message because Kevin wasn’t available. So I left a voicemail and emailed him. He emailed me back saying he could not find the winch remote control. I replied, how are we going to do to resolve this? He never responded back regarding this matter. His other emails have been the company email under the manager Ryan Nelson, asking for my review, asking about my experience with the truck, but never answering the question of whether they’re resolving the issue or not. And then through physical mail they had the audacity to send me vehicle protection offers and nothing about the winch remote control! So overall, this was the worst car buying experience and I would not recommend anyone to AutoNation Honda. More
Car shopping is already stressful enough. Honda AutoNation made the process of purchasing very smooth. Peter was extremely patient, personable, and I knew I was in good hands. Buyer beware - Autonation Honda of Roseville will not assist you with issues after purchase. I purchased a 2019 Honda Clarify in April of 2025 and was initally very please with my purchase. But when I assist you with issues after purchase. I purchased a 2019 Honda Clarify in April of 2025 and was initally very please with my purchase. But when I went to file my taxes this year, I found out the dealership did not submit the required time of sale report to the IRS so that I could claim the clean vehicle tax credit the car qualified for. I tried reaching out to both the salesman and the finance manager who sold me the car initially for help - ironically in an email where the salesman, Malek, assured me that one I buy from Honda I'm a part of the "Honda Family", and they never responded! I called multiple times with and was told another finance manager, Kyle Smith, was responsible for filing these reports. He never returned my calls or voicemails. So finally I drove all the way to Roseville from Sacramento to handle it in person. Kyle Smith, their finance manager, was incredibly rude and dismissive, and wouldn't let me get 2 words out before interrupting to tell me there is nothing they could do. He walked off and refused to help more. I turned around and found another manager who was able to go to their "controller" Sabrina Radoff and she magically found a way to press the required buttons to file the report they should have filed a year ago. No one apologized for how I was treated by Kyle or for not returning my emails or calls until I sent an email asking for an apology and explaining how awful my encounter with this business was. Lesson learned: Do not buy from Autonation Honda of Roseville - they are happy to help before the sale, but afterwards, getting them to do basic things to help you is like pulling teeth. More
