Love this dealer and my go to salesperson, but extremely disappointed in my last service. 4 hours for an oil change. And, 3 1/2 hours were spent with my car not being logged into system. We were on an extended road trip and our car developed a coolant leak. I called AutoNation Honda and they said to come right in. They fit us into their very busy schedule and worked on our car for several hours replacing the part needed and doing a full vehicle check for us. We are very satisfied with the service we received and grateful that they took us without an appointment and that we were able to continue our road trip several hours later. Austin helped my son Andrew buy his first new truck. He was awesome, was so patient and took the time to make sure Andrew understood everything since he is deaf. Arrived early, waited outside closed door for 10+minutes - my fault for arriving early? When inside found out my service rep had left for the day? In the meantime the lady's car behind me in line was proces - my fault for arriving early? When inside found out my service rep had left for the day? In the meantime the lady's car behind me in line was processed and took away for service work. I was assigned Austin who I might say did a great job for me. After completing the paperwork I went into the waiting area but decided to walk outside. I walked 6 laps around the perimeter and each time checked on my car that was still sitting where I had left 30+ minutes ago. I went to service reception and asked to see the service manager. The young lady paged him and then went looking for him. My car was moved from service reception to a parking place outside. I went and asked the young lady again to see the manager. She said he was in a meeting ( I never did see the service manager even when I was waiting in the rest area.) Finally my car was taken away for service work after about 40+ minutes of completing the paperwork. Austin was very apologetic and he could not have been nicer. I understand that I can only use my prepaid services at your dealership because there is not another autonation dealer in Knoxville. I will not purchase these again and probably will use another dealership next time I buy a SUV. This is a pity because in the past I have been pleased with my purchasing and service experiences at AutoNation Honda West. More
