Also, disappointed about wanting some help with an issue re pairing my cell phone with my car Bluetooth and just was told to see a sales person. Would have been nice for the desk crew to at least get someone for me. Otherwise, everything else was very good. More
Great customer service. There were no high pressure sales tactics. I had a great experience overall. I would buy another car from them. There were no high pressure sales tactics. I had a great experience overall. I would buy another car from them. More
I can’t speak to a in person transaction with AutoNation Hyundai O’Hare as I purchased my wife’s 2020 Audi A7 Premium Plus ($74,196 purchase price) online and over the phone from California and had it shipp Hyundai O’Hare as I purchased my wife’s 2020 Audi A7 Premium Plus ($74,196 purchase price) online and over the phone from California and had it shipped out. It was a experience that briefly started out good and quickly declined throughout the process to terrible. Everything went wrong from being charged the wrong tax rate that took almost two weeks to get corrected which it never completely did and I finally just signed the Purchase Agreement with it still wrong but close enough and tired of dealing with it (I was hoping the DMV or the title company would catch it and I would get a refund somewhere, here’s to hoping). If I wasn’t used to looking at contracts I would have been severely over charged and somebody would have made out nicely, I wonder who? Next, they charged me $2770 to ship my wife’s 2020 Audi A7 with low miles on a open transport even though I specifically told them to ship it on a enclosed transport only, especially for that price and the fact that I’m paying for it. I got 10 transport quotes for a open transport and the price range was from $850 to $1050 and for a closed transport the price range was from $1650 to $1850. These quotes are nowhere near the $2770 that they gouged me for especially for the open transport cost they shipped the car on. I told them shipping the car in a closed transport is not just for the safety of the expensive paint job but for the safety of the dealership because if it gets damaged I would be sending a bill to them for the cost of fixing the paint issues. Sure enough when my wife went to pick up her car there were several rock dings, (some all the way through the paint), in the hood/front bumper, fenders and side of the cars paint and a couple in the windshield. Would have been so much easier and cheaper to ship it like I asked in a closed transport. At 2 ½ times the going rate for a open transport (my quotes $850 to $1050 vs what I was charged $2770) somebody is making out nicely, I wonder who? As far as the paint damage from shipping the car on open transport the GM has been notified but I haven’t heard anything back so they will be getting a bill and we will see what happens. I will update the review with any response or non-response on this matter. Communication is a huge problem especially once the deal is done. Before they had my money in hand ($74,196) they would get back to me a little faster on questions I had. After they had the money I would have to call them over and over and over to find out about when the car was shipping or how it was shipping or even if they just had received my 2 checks from Fedex or how the title transfer service worked which as of the time of posting this review I still have not received the title of the car. It seems like everything takes 6-7 or more calls. Overall it was a process that took way too long, held up by lack of communication, overpricing certain parts of the Purchase Agreement and having excuses for all of it. It seems almost as if the Purchase Agreement is a way to overcharge customers without them even knowing unless they are used to reading contracts. If anything changes from the time of this review I will update it here. More
