My three year lease was up in February of 2022. Because they were looking for used cars, I decided to trade in my lease early and leased another vehicle on 11/30/2021. I asked multiple times and it was co they were looking for used cars, I decided to trade in my lease early and leased another vehicle on 11/30/2021. I asked multiple times and it was confirmed that my old lease would be paid off and I would not be responsible for the final 2 payments. It is now January 12, 43 days later, and I am 18 days late on my lease payment for the car I no longer have. My vehicle was never "grounded" properly and I was never given a "return" receipt for the vehicle so Hyundai financial can't release the vehicle from my name. This does not seem like it should be a big job but after multiple contacts with the dealer, it still has not been completed. They also paid off the vehicle by check instead of electronically and I am unable to get a copy of front and back of the the check from the dealer proving it was paid off. They were great to get me into a new vehicle and take my trade-in but now that there is an issue, no sense of urgency. Horrible customer service. More
