I have never been to a dealership service area where the employees are so friendly and the place is always neat and clean. My husband drives a Santa Fe and experiences the same type of old-fashion service employees are so friendly and the place is always neat and clean. At first, I loved this place. They were friendly, and I thought the quality of work was high. I am a young woman, and they seemed as though they were giving me great deals for service. However, I believed I had a problem with the engine, and they kept telling me that the car was okay for two years. Eventually, I became frustrated enough to speak to the service manager. He basically told me that if his guys found nothing wrong with the car, I was imagining things, but if it was really bothering me, that I should consider getting a new car. At this point, I decided to check out a different Certified Hyundai Dealership. They found and fixed the problem in two hours. Additionally, I had some work needed on the window motor and sunroof. Hyundai of Tempe had quoted over $400 more than the new Hyundai dealer (Chapman Hyundai)... and this was without giving them a quote. Although Hyundai of Tempe appears to be giving people a good deal, in reality they start with a higher asking price for their services, drop it a hundred dollars or so to make the customer feel as though they got a deal, and don't adequately fix the mechanical problem. I received a letter informing me that my new vehicle was due for an oil change - it has already been done (in Oct.) and not entered into my records at idriveonline.
