I went in for my standard maintenance service (oil change, rotation, etc) - which has never cost me anything since I have their extended plan. I usually work with Danny, but today I dealt with Sara. I told her I didn't need a rotation, but everything else was fine. She asked if I wanted to replace my wiper fluid and wipers and I said okay - thinking this was standard with my service plan. Come to find out, when I pick up my car I have an invoice for $198.00! I was taken aback and was not prepared to spend any money on my service let alone $200 extra bucks. I asked her why this was charged when I have never been charged in the past and she then informed me that the wipers and fluid were not included. I would have never asked for the service had I known. Why didn't she mention that at the beginning?? After a couple of awkward moments of me asking if there were any discounts on services or anything to lower the cost, she said it's fine - I will get you your keys. I didn't want to cause any issues, but I felt like if she communicated this extra charge clearly this morning, we would not have had this misunderstanding. More

Terrible scheduling process for repair, they use an online system so I had my car towed and they left in the back 8 days not examined! I had to go in person TWICE to check on the status of my car beca online system so I had my car towed and they left in the back 8 days not examined! I had to go in person TWICE to check on the status of my car because no one would respond to my calls. Finally I started calling the sales office b/c yes, they want your business and will answer the phone! It took 27 days to repair and through the whole process lots of excuses, and I was the one having to call every few days for updates, very little outreach to me to keep me apprised of the process (or lack thereof!). Very dissatisfied. At the end, I had a coupon for 10% off the repair and has asked before the work began if I could apply the coupon and they said yes, but in the end, they wouldn't let me. 5K later, I will NEVER go to Tempe Nissan again and will tell all my friends about the horrible experience. Massive company, can't give me a flipping 10% discount with a coupon THEY provide, just to soften the bad experience. More

As usual all went well. AutoNation needs to assign more help to this Dealership in the service up front and the technicians that do the work. The only way to improve you service is have enough help which you do not. No cashier meaning the service writers not only have to get the car serviced and ready they need to be a cashier. You do not pay them enough for all the extra work. No service manager to handle the complaints. I have been going to this dealership since Henry Brown opened it and today it is in the worst shape ever, all caused by Autonation.
