We visited other dealerships and were stunned by the lack of enthusiasm. We had asked for specific information on warranties on the specific vehicle we were ready to buy and 5 days later we have heard nothi of enthusiasm. We initially had no plans to buy a subaru, but after the previous days disappointment, we thought we would give it a look. Ian in sales called us almost immediately after submitting the request. We talked briefly on the phone and said we would arrive within 30 minutes. When we arrived the car we were looking for was waiting outside for the test drive along with Ian. He and Ely had the deal closed within two hours. Both did a great job and showed enthusiasm about their work which was important to us. The shark fin on the top of my Legacy flew off, so I came in to have it replaced and get an oil change, (which cost me almost $1,200.00). Your service team gave me a list of items that they recommended came in to have it replaced and get an oil change, (which cost me almost $1,200.00). Your service team gave me a list of items that they recommended be repaired or flushed immediately. After the shocking $1,200 invoice, we decided to take that recommendation list to our trusted garage and their mechanics. The only thing our mechanic said was needed at this time were the spark plugs, which they replaced for $435. Your cost was listed as $875 for the same service. Your staff, as usual, was very friendly, however, I will not be getting any services done at your dealership in the future, unless our trusted mechanic is unable to do it. Very disappointed. And the verdict is still out on the shark fin, as we have been having disruptions in our Sirius radio service & Pandora. More
