The oil drain plug was over-tightened the last time my Forester was serviced and the Subaru dealership exceeded all my expectations to resolve the problem promptly. Took our Ascent in for service. Had three issues we asked to be addressed: battery completely dead, radio stopped working, transmission not "shifting" right. The service advisor tried too hard to up-sell us on services, and asked demeaning questions (did you have the volume turned up, did you have the mute on). Even though we had an appointment, and dropped it off at 7am, they didn't even look at it until the following day. It took 3 separate calls to find out it hadn't even been looked at. When they finally looked at it the following day, they found nothing wrong. Bet if we were not under warranty there would have been plenty to fix. More
