The process itself is never fun but its the process, not the people. More
I had a family emergency and had to travel to New Jersey, leaving my truck parked. The vehicle was impounded, and after that I learned the lender had repossessed it. I was required to pay approximately $2,70 leaving my truck parked. The vehicle was impounded, and after that I learned the lender had repossessed it. I was required to pay approximately $2,700 to recover the truck. The communication and resolution process was extremely frustrating, and I felt I was not treated fairly as a customer. Based on my experience, I would not do business with this dealership or its affiliated finance operations again. More

Had vehicle towed in for a transmission issue, due to the fact that the warranty was extended because of issues with the transmission. Was called back and was told the transmission would not be covered becau fact that the warranty was extended because of issues with the transmission. Was called back and was told the transmission would not be covered because the fluid in the differential was low. They showed a video of fluid in a catch can but did not show the vehicle that it came out of. So warranty was denied. Prior to that we had it at a shop and they were the ones that informed us about the warranty, and they checked the transmission fluid and differential fluids when they had it and all fluids were full. We then took it to another Subaru dealer and got the vehicle back in three days with a new transmission under warranty. I think Auto Nation was trying to double dip and get us to pay and then do it under warranty. Very unethical. More
I purchased a 2026 Subaru Forrester Wilderness Edition, last weekend. The entire experience was one of the best car buying encounters I’ve had. And, I have owned a good share of vehicles. AutoNation Subaru last weekend. The entire experience was one of the best car buying encounters I’ve had. And, I have owned a good share of vehicles. AutoNation Subaru’s sales crew were not like most new car salespeople. There was no hard sell, no back and forth, no “oops, I left off a charge, now you pay more” xx. Jolan, our personal Subaru salesperson, was an amazing human. She communicated well, found answers to our questions and took care of us throughout the process. I highly recommend Jolan - seek her out for a new car! You’ll be glad you spent the time. Do yourself a favor and bypass the other Subaru dealers and stop by AutoNation Subaru. More
Credit where credit is due: Exceptional service at Subaru Scottsdale "It’s very easy for people to make noise and complain when they are dissatisfied, but I believe it is far more important to speak up whe Scottsdale "It’s very easy for people to make noise and complain when they are dissatisfied, but I believe it is far more important to speak up when someone truly delivers. I wanted to publicly recognize the service manager at Subaru Scottsdale for going above and beyond. In a world of 'just enough' service, they provided a level of performance that was truly exceptional. If you’re looking for a team that actually takes pride in their work and looks after their customers, this is the place. Thank you for the outstanding experience! More
I’m writing this review almost a year after purchasing my 2022 Subaru Outback from AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale. At the time, I was a single pregnant mom shopping alone and trying to make the best financial 2022 Subaru Outback from AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale. At the time, I was a single pregnant mom shopping alone and trying to make the best financial decision possible. I was upfront about my situation, and the sales staff made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout the process. I genuinely believed I was getting a fair deal. To their credit, I did get a better trade-in offer from CarMax because the dealership wouldn’t match it. Unfortunately, where things really went wrong was in the finance office with all the add-ons and “protection” packages. I agreed to a maintenance package that was heavily pushed during the sale, and looking back, it was a terrible decision. By the time everything was added in, it basically wiped out the value I gained from my trade-in and forced me into a much larger loan than I originally planned. I take responsibility for signing the paperwork, but I also think dealerships should have some level of ethics when working with people in vulnerable situations. Instead, I left feeling pressured into expensive add-ons that ultimately have provided very little value. What makes this even more frustrating is that the car has now broken down twice, completely shutting down while coming to a stop after exiting the freeway. The second time especially could have been dangerous if my daughter had been in the car. One of those repairs cost me around $500 — and the maintenance package I was sold covered essentially nothing related to the issue. The reason I’m writing this review today is because I just brought my car in for an oil change and was told I’m almost due for my 60k-mile service. I was quoted around $1,800, which was significantly higher than quotes I received from other reputable shops in the area. That was the final straw for me, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward. At the end of the day, I bought this car because I believed Subaru stood for safety and reliability for families. My experience with this dealership did not reflect those values at all. Based on the overall experience, especially the sales ethics and finance process, I would not recommend this dealership. More
