I purchased a used 2023 Tesla Model S at AutoNation Toyota in Las Vegas. The car was advertised as one of the most pristine with only 10,500 miles. The car was priced at top dollar. Overall the car appeared nice, I paid their top dollar asking price but once I got the car home just 20 min away I noticed a 1/2 inch hole in the leather seat. I immediately messaged the salesman and he said they would take care of it. I expected they would since they offer a five day 250 mile return policy on used vehicles. I had Tesla replace the seat cover at 728 dollars. When I asked to be reimbursed it was denied. I was told they were working on it and to give it a couple months and I should have noticed the seat hole before buying it. In the meantime while waiting I was ghosted by the salesman, lied to when I had questions about the car. Before purchasing the car, I was told it had to go to Tesla to get a key card programed because the previous owner only had his phone as the key but when I took delivery it was an old worn out key card they gave me. New key cards come in a brand new pack of two. They wouldn’t tell me the truth about where the car was before they let me see it. Later I found out the hood and front bumper had been repainted but that was never disclosed to me. After purchasing it had to go to Tesla for multiple out of pocket repairs, which that stuff happens but all I asked for was to reimburse me for the seat cover repair since I disclosed that immediately when I got it home and well within the 5 day/250 guarantee. I’ve waited 3 months and nothing but ghosting. Sad thing I went through this with another AutoNation in the Vegas area and ended up returning that car because it had been wrecked and not disclosed. Hope you have better luck with AutoNation Toyota in Las Vegas. More
