My experience at AutoNation Toyota Leesburg was absolutely amazing! I was in the market to purchase a new car as mine had hit the 20 year mark and with the looming tariffs, now was the time to pul absolutely amazing! I was in the market to purchase a new car as mine had hit the 20 year mark and with the looming tariffs, now was the time to pull the trigger. I visited a number of dealerships in my area and had the usual experience. Predatory salesmen who threw inflated numbers at me while making me feel uncomfortable time and again. Some of them grew disinterested the moment they found out I was buying used instead of new and was working on a budget. That was not the case with AutoNation Toyota Leesburg. In fact, it was very different and refreshing! My first contact was over the phone with Deondrea. I found a car on their website that was everything I was looking for and I wanted to make a move quickly. Because of my work schedule, I would not be able to make it to the dealership in time before they closed. Deondrea went out of his way both visits by staying late to meet with me. We connected right away. He was very friendly and down-to-Earth. At no point did he make me feel pressured or anxious. In fact, he let me bring my ESA Corgi with me! Deondrea took the time to explain things to me in an easy-to-understand manner. Since I had not purchased a car in the last 20 years, this was very welcomed. While talking to Deondrea, I also was introduced to General Manager Stephen Reeves. Stephen was warm and caring. He understood my situation and worked with Deondrea to help make my purchase happen. While we worked out the details, he got my Corgi a bowl of water and welcomed my fiance` to a cup of hot cocoa. It would be fair to say that Stephen and I hit it off right away. He gave me straight answers and even helped me ask questions I didn't even know I should be asking. No sales pitch. No pressure. No sugar-coating. Just help. When there was an issue with my check payment, Deondrea drove over an hour, on his day off, to help me get it resolved. Let me say that again. Over an hour. On his day off. He didn't need to do that. All he had to do was wait 1 day and someone else would have come in to buy the car with a lot less hassle. (In fact, 11 people came in asking to buy it the very next day who probably would have paid more.) They were invested in helping me and they did everything they said they would do and more! They stayed there with me until 12am (They close at 9pm.) two nights in the row, just so we could get everything in order. They even gave me a great price for my trade-in car! After that I worked with Finance Manager Yeabsira who showed experience and wisdom far beyond her years. Admittedly, I was tired, hungry, and was a little gruff because I was carrying preconceived notions about what dealing with a Finance Manager was going to be like. She was the exact opposite. She helped keep me grounded and centered. We went over the packages and just focused on the ones that worked best for my needs. I have worked in Customer Service for over 27 years, and she impressed me with her empathy and willingness to put my needs over the company's. A rare find in the auto sales industry! If you are in the market for a car, regardless of whether it's used or new, regardless if you are buying it outright or are working on a budget, like me. Do yourself a favor and go to AutoNation Toyota Leesburg. Even if it's a bit of a drive for you, I promise it will be worth it. Go see Stephen and his team. See what it feels like to be valued as a customer instead of being treated like fresh meat. Don't waste your time with people who view you as numbers on their commission.
