Edited 9/3/24: At the suggestion of a friend I submitted a claim to Toyota Care, after several days I had heard nothing back so I wrote a review on here, Google, etc and then suddenly the dealership GM call a claim to Toyota Care, after several days I had heard nothing back so I wrote a review on here, Google, etc and then suddenly the dealership GM called me willing to help. He was accommodating and they were able to do some work to remove the scratches when I was driving nearby to their store for other reasons (I live 3hrs from them). The scratches are resolved, I am happy with that! I changed this to a 5 star review! However, in all honesty it still seems incorrect for a dealership to only look to help you after you write a review and call their parents to complain (Toyota Care). I had the pleasure of meeting up with Angel again while I was getting this resolved, again he was a pleasure to meet with. We all looked at the scratches and could not figure out how that could have occurred from parking in a hotel lot and the next day driving 3hrs home, and we also could not figure out how we could have missed them during the sale-day-reviews, but in the end I have no access to equipment to fix this sort of thing and they readily do, so given these unique circumstances where the cause is truly unknown, I appreciate they helped me out in the end! Its always a good idea to error on the side of helping out the little guy when you run a business. Original from August 2024: The presale, and buying process with Angel was great, he answered my questions. Unfortunately, after the sale there were issues outside his control. Having gotten the car home I noticed significant scratches that aren't the type to occur from driving or by sitting in a parking lot, only maintenance, washing, or other garage or car hauler sorts of work could make those scratches on a brand new car, even scratched into hard plastic not only the paint. The dealership was unable to do anything to resolve this. I called Toyota care and am awaiting further guidance. My new car now has scratches worse than my 12yr old car had.......let that sink in.....brand new off the lot. Yes, I should have looked it over closer but it's brand new why should I need to, and there were other things going on! I drove 3hrs to get that color, there were paperwork mistakes causing distractions, I had 2 kids bouncing off the walls, etc - a new car should not need me to examine it with a fine tooth comb. More

A Warning to All: Avoid AutoNation Toyota in Leesburg at All Costs AutoNation Toyota in Leesburg is an absolute disaster, a colossal waste of time, and an embarrassment to the industry. Calling their ser All Costs AutoNation Toyota in Leesburg is an absolute disaster, a colossal waste of time, and an embarrassment to the industry. Calling their service "poor" is a gross understatement—it's downright deplorable. The level of dishonesty, unprofessionalism, and lack of customer care is beyond belief. They don't even come close to offering the decency or genuine service you’d expect from any respectable dealership. I wouldn’t give them even a single star, but if I could, I’d rate them a negative five. Their appalling treatment of customers should serve as a clear warning to anyone considering doing business with them. If you value your peace of mind and want a smooth, enjoyable experience, steer clear of these con artists. Trust me, you’ll regret setting foot on their lot. Below is a summary of the events these guys brought upon me: • Vehicle Purchase: On June 4th, 2024, I purchased a 2024 Toyota Highlander from AutoNation Toyota Leesburg. • Unauthorized Add-Ons: Despite explicitly stating that I did not want any additional warranties or guarantees, the finance representative, Mr. Hashish, included them in my contract without my consent. When I noticed these charges, I requested their removal. He assured me that they would be canceled, and I would receive new paperwork in the mail. • Misleading Assurances: Over the next few weeks, I repeatedly contacted the dealership. Each time, I was assured that the original contract was canceled and that a new one would be drawn up with the correct terms. They claimed to have paid off the original contract and promised a new one was forthcoming. • Failure to Act: Despite these assurances, I received my first bill with the original terms unchanged. When I contacted Toyota Financial, they informed me that the dealership had taken no action to cancel or amend the contract. • In-Person Visit: On July 8th, 2024, I personally visited the dealership and signed a new contract. I was told that my first payment under this new contract would be due on September 19th, 2024, and that I could ignore the previous contract. • Continued Issues: Despite these new assurances, I have discovered that: o The dealership did not pay off the original contract as promised. o I was two months behind on payments, with late fees accumulating. o The total financed amount remains unchanged, despite my efforts to cancel the unwanted services. o I have not received any refunds for the canceled services. Current Status: I’ve had to pay the overdue amount just to avoid wrecking my credit, but the real issues are still festering. Toyota Financial is blame-shifting, saying the dealership is responsible for fixing this mess. Meanwhile, the dealership (AutoNation Toyota Leesburg) has shown nothing but outright contempt, ignoring my concerns completely. Now, after two and half months from the purchase date, all I have in my hand is two contradictory contracts with different numbers and services on them, and a head full of stress and frustration—thanks to AutoNation Toyota in Leesburg. If you’re eager for a full-blown nightmare, then, by all means, give them a try. But if you value your sanity, stay far, far away from this circus. More
My interaction with Alan Ribner was so easy and comfortable that I cannot recommend him enough if you want to sell a used car. He offered me 20% more than CarMax, which was fantastic.
