In the end most of the issues were resolved, but a lot of frustration could have been resolved with better-advanced communication. We had picked out and put a deposit on a vehicle 2 months prior. We had been pre-approved for both Toyota financing and outside financing. With these two major hurdles resolved, we expected to have a fairly quick trip to get our vehicle. The process still took over 4 hours. Hurdles: -Learned that day we weren't allowed to use external financing for a new vehicle -Had to re-apply with a paper application for Toyota credit even though I had already applied online. -None of this information was shared until we were already there for 2 hours! I should have been given the application when I walked in the door. -Was told we had insurance to drive the vehicle off the lot after we had been there for 3 hours and it was after 8:30 and I couldn't get a hold of an agent. -appearance package had been applied to the vehicle already when it is listed as an optional purchase. -Major confusion over what vehicles were eligible for the College Rebate between the Autonation site and the Toyota site. All of the employees were super polite and most of these issues were resolved satisfactorily, but I didn't leave the dealership excited about our new Truck, rather I was just frustrated and felt tricked in the whole process. Simple communication in the 2 months I had been communicating with my dealer would have resolved this problem before I arrived. So, I would say 4.5 for the end result, but a 1 for the process. More

Very disappointing experience. Purchased the car through the Costco buying program. Had to order the vehicle but that was fine. When the car arrived, made an appointment to pick it Purchased the car through the Costco buying program. Had to order the vehicle but that was fine. When the car arrived, made an appointment to pick it up at 4:00 pm. Imagine my surprise when the dealership applied paint protection to the car when I clearly had the order form and I did not want that protection. After endless discussions, they finally said they would only charge me their cost. Due to the lack of available inventory I did not really have any other option. Then came the whole fiasco with the financing person. He was relentless on trying to get me to purchase optional warranties until he was blue in the face. I told him I had now been at the dealership for close to 3 hours and I was in a very poor mood. He could continue to act like I was some kind of idiot but I wasn't changing my mind and I just wanted to be done. Needless to say, a very poor experience to say the least. The funny part of it all is that they sent me this survey to fill out. Based on my experience with them, I'm shocked they'd want me to share this with other potential buyers. More
