I went to Appleway Toyota Scion with the intention of buying a 2013 toyota tacoma 4x4. I had an appointment setup for 10 am Saturday with Tim Wheeler. When I arrived he basically greeted me at the door. He asked me what I wanted to do first ? Review Specs (did he know I was an engineer?) option packages, warranties, prices he was all about me. He did not have a preset agenda on how to "handle" me. Tim is friendly and easy to talk with. I drove a new extended cab and loved it; as we pulled back into the lot I noticed a used 2002 Tacoma SR5 double cab off in a corner. It is in absolutely superb and in my garage now. Tim did not discourage me in any way from going for this truck instead and basically spending $15k to $20k less. He was delighted I found what I wanted. The deal went through easily. I came back later to pick it up ( they had not had it long enough to do their safety inspection) and the place was packed; every office was taken. I thought "great I will be waiting 30 minutes because he won't leave with all these customers here". Well he kept his promise that he would run my other car home for me as soon as I got there. Now that was notable. He already had my money and all he was going to get out of taking me home was losing a possible sale. Oh and a happy customer. Yeah I love my truck and absolutely recommend him as a no pressure, pleasant and knowledgeable salesperson. More

Settling on a price was fast. Getting the paperwork filled out was a joke. I would never advise anyone to purchase their Toyota from Appleway Toyota. Brian Rohn (I might be spelling his last name wrong filled out was a joke. I would never advise anyone to purchase their Toyota from Appleway Toyota. Although I continued to say I already have my loan set up through my credit union he continued to try and get me to sign documents I would refuse to sign. He wasted 45 minutes of my time just to get my correct address for all my documents. Instead of simply getting my correct information and entering it on all my documents, he continued to waste my time saying, "I could probably get you a better interest rate." And asking questions about my loan (which is absolutely none of his business.) Because I was not doing a loan through them he did not want to let me walk out of the store that night with my car. I told him I am not waiting for him to fill out my paperwork. I told him to have it ready for me the next morning @ 11AM. When I got to Appleway Toyota I was greeted by Jason Morgan (A no-B.S. salesman. Which I appreciate.) He brought me to Jason Bisquera another loan department worker who had my paperwork ready to be signed. Jason Bisquera was respectful, efficient, and professional. My paperwork was prepared by Brian Rohn the night before and all the paperwork was incorrect. Every paper had different zip codes for my address, and my name was spelled incorrect on half the paperwork. It did not make any sense to me how he could have screwed up a simple job as to entering my information. I would never advise another to take a loan out through Appleway Toyota. I would only advise having your loan ready through your credit union or bank prior to purchasing your vehicle, or purchase it with cash. If the person dealing with your paperwork is Brian Rohn, ask for someone else to work with you and your paperwork immediately. He will waste your time, he will speak to you in a demeaning tone, and he will fill out your paperwork incorrectly. More

Salesman Ron was very nice. The cars are overpriced for the expected "negotiation". Purchased contingent on Safety which vehicle did not pass...
