The whole experience we had at Automotive Avenues isn't what we expected from a car dealership. The sales person (Christian) worked to make sure we found the right car for our needs and budget. He was hands on and there when we needed him to be, answering my questions and addressing my concerns, and gave us room when we needed to think things over or just wanted to look at the cars by ourselves. He stayed mindful of our budget from the very beginning and worked diligently with us to make sure we wound up with a payment we were comfortable with. When we didn't find our dream car on their lot, he began working immediately to see what he could find at nearby dealerships and bring over for us to test drive. The months my wife and I had spent watching inventories and looking at different cars online that looked like what we wanted, we didn't have to do that anymore. Automotive Avenues started doing the work for us and let us know when cars that might be a good fit came up. They did the work of checking other dealerships (and will even watch the auctions for you) to see when new cars came up that we might want to check out. We went in looking for a used car and ultimately wound up buying a new one. Christian tossed it out there as just an idea to consider, and after looking at the cost of the used ones we were looking at (Subars apparently hold their value very well, especially in Colorado), decided to test drive a couple and see how the cost compared. What we wound up with was our dream car, and inside a budget we were comfortable with. I would recommend anybody I know to go check out Automotive Avenues when they're in the market for a car, and I look forward to working with them in the future. I just wanted to write about my encounter with this dealer. We saw a vehicle listed on the Automotive Avenues website as a ‘Current Special’ for $10,372. I called and Pam verified the price and that th dealer. We saw a vehicle listed on the Automotive Avenues website as a ‘Current Special’ for $10,372. I called and Pam verified the price and that the vehicle was available for a test drive. We arrived and, after some difficulty getting a consultant to assist us, took an extended test drive with the family. Everyone liked the car and we offered to buy it after returning to the lot. While filling out the paperwork with Bob, we were informed that the actual price of the vehicle was $14,989. I showed the ad on their website using my cell, and another consultant, Christian, took my phone to the Sales Director. He returned, stated that the $14,989 was correct, and the website price was an error. We left. After writing a letter and sending it to the administration of the dealer, I received multiple calls from Vince, the Sales Director. Vince’s final offer was $2000 off the $14,989 price, which I declined. Even if it was an ‘error’, this was still less than half of the difference between the advertised price and the price we were told was the actual. I’m still not sure what actually transpired during this transaction, but want to express my displeasure with this dealer. Everything about the pricing ‘error’, seemed wrong. They always seem to have rave reviews, but my experience was less than pleasurable. More
