I am always happy to share positive experiences on social media. Unfortunately, purchasing a new or preowned vehicle has not always been one of them. Luckily I have mostly just praise for the folks at Auto Avenues. Over the years I'd checked out many cars here, but usually by the time i got there the one i wanted was gone . This time I was lucky. My electric Ford Focus hatchback had been languishing for almost 3 months, which worked out well since there was a nice price reduction. I worked with Marco as my salesperson. Though he doesn't seem like a hard-core car guy, he was very low-key, friendly, and open to receiving feedback. I appreciated the chance to drive the car on my own, and made 2 trips to make sure this was the right car. the only issues which were a bit off putting were the window etching fee and the somewhat high document fee. Other than that, I'm a very happy camper. Everyone i worked with was professional and pretty chill, which i found kind of astonishing, since the place is usually much crazier than Grand Central Station. I give the staff lots of credit for working - and staying calm - under these conditions. Of course they offered me an extended warranty, but weren't pushy about it, like some other dealerships in the past. The detail guys did a great job and the car looks pretty much brand new. There was one setback after I brought the car home, after 3 days. I tried to start it, and had no power at all. I spoke with Ralph, a service manager. He was very personable and helpful, and told me I probably just had a battery issue. This was somewhat surprising, since the Car Fax indicated that the car had been checked out at a local Ford dealer. Anyway, Ralph and Marco advised me to speak with Bobby, one of the managers. They assured me that their team would take care of the issue. Bobby set up a visit with their mobile service team. I was impressed that they offered this level of support. The following morning, the mobile team arrived - Vinny and his helper, who i think was named Sid. they replaced the battery, which seemed to be about 10 years old, and the car was good as new. I am loving my Focus EV, and will definitely stick with Automotive Avenues for my auto needs. More

I was in the process of purchasing a car from this location. The price breakdown and financing information was already signed which included the price of the car, the trade in offer for my current veh location. The price breakdown and financing information was already signed which included the price of the car, the trade in offer for my current vehicle and the financing options. I decided not to finance because the rate was higher than I was comfortable with so I told the sales representative that I would be paying the balance of the car myself. The sales representative immediately went to discuss with the financing department and returned to me to let me know that they want to work with me on financing (after this was already stated as a non negotiable) and provided me with a small deduction in rate. I insisted on paying off the car myself. I was told by the sales representative that while I was in the process of purchasing this vehicle, the price increased (and reflected this increase online) by a few thousand dollars. He said they would only honor the original price if I financed the car that same day instead of paying the car in cash the next day (since banks were already closed at this point). I was not able to write a certified bank check at that moment because the banks were closed so my only option was to finance through them in order to keep the agreed upon price. Ironically, another customer was in the building a few cubicles away from me and was told the same thing, that the price was a mistake and went up a few thousand dollars. We were both ready to purchase the car in cash and were told the same thing. We both spoke to the "owner" about this who could only apologize and admitted that it was bad business. He was not willing to take a deposit for the car because he said "we do not accept deposits" even though a representative earlier that day said they would. He said, "that is only if you are traveling from out of state". More
