We had been looking into an electric car and contacted several VW dealers. They all pretty much gave us the same offer but Bailey suggested a better deal. He said he would give us $300 worth of all season floor mats, sunshield, bumper protection film and starbucks gift cards. (We have a text message exchanged with him.) Since he offered the better deals, why not? We decided to drive over 100 miles from LA. While we were waiting for paperwork, we asked him about the gifts he promised. Of course, he didn't prepare for us. He said the shop was closed so he would ship them out to us and he wrote down our address in the sticky memo. Guess what?? We had to check the shipping status many days and now he changed his words. He said he never promised it though we have his text message. At the end he sent us a $2 door protection film and kept saying that he sent us starbuck cards and would get cards any day so not to leave a review. Wow~. A mail takes more than a week from SD to LA? We trusted him so we didn't put anything on the contract paper but now we feel exploited and cheated. I am writing this review in hopes that you won't be fooled by this scam like my friends and I were. One more thing! Have you thought about why this dealer has a good review rate? Among my friends, I had a very smooth process that night and I am the only one who received the dealerrater.com review link. Where's other 3 review emails for my friends? Well, if someone complains, they may say this guy is not a VERIFIED CUSTOMER but I am the VERIFIED CUSTOMER and this is my first impression of Volkswagen. More
