Since our three-year lease for a new Subaru Crosstrek was coming to an end, we decided to purchase the car. When we talked with the sales person who was vague and did not answer our questions appropriately. He did not mention he option to buy the car directly from the lease holder, namely the bank. We were forced to go to the dealership and spent many 2.5 hours with the sales person going back-and-forth to his managers to answer every question we had. The titling we wanted was challenged and was finally accepted after our insistence that what we wanted was legal and appropriate. While the sales person was friendly and acknowledged the fact that he was new with the job, in fact this inexperience cost us at least one thousand dollars which we otherwise would not have spent.
