Good morning, My name is Steven Lustig, I am the Vice President of Acura of Denville. I am rather disappointed to read your review on Dealer Rater. Since we are a Dealer Rater Certified Dealer, we have the opportunity to reconcile the situation before this review goes live on the Dealer Rater website which I hope we can avoid as we put a lot of effort into making sure we receive only positive reviews. If you can tell me your name, I will find out the status of your vehicle this morning and determine why no one has contacted you. For the record, there are a few hundred or so cars in our zone that no one has been able to get as they have had major backups at the port and at the rail yards where the cars come in due to the weather. It is not an excuse, but I wanted you to understand that there are forces at work which go beyond our control. I do hope we can resolve this and you would then take the opportunity to edit your review to one that is favorable as I am sure we can work this out favorably. Hi Steven, I purposefully did not give a lot of detail as I didn't want anyone getting in trouble. I also did not want to jeopardize my deal. All I am saying is that your dealership and the Acura brand will get better recognition if you guys went a bit further in your customer service. I was very excited about my purchase as I've never bought a new car for myself and now I'm just waiting and waiting for the transaction to happen! I've never spent so much on a car and even when i am ready to do so, it is taking too long. I guess i expected a faster delivery process. I know the weather isn't helping but it would be nice to know status of the delivery on a regular basis. I did my part by selecting Acura over BMW, Infinity, Lexus, Mercedes Benz etc. In all honesty, i wasn't even leaning towards Acura at first. I will be glad to change my review upon the completion of my sale. My name is Vinayak Ranade and I bought the TL AWD with Tech from Pete. He did call me late yesterday to tell me that he has located a vehicle and you're going to swap one the other dealership needs to secure my car. I am hopeful that this will happen soon. Anything you can do to assist Pete in his process will be greatly appreciated. My kids are totally excited about the new car as am I. They keep asking me everyday, "when are we getting our new car?".
