We were met by Tim on the lot and he was very kind and patient with me and my elderly grandmother. We had done our research beforehand and knew the couple of cars we wanted to take a look at. Tim provided a preliminary tour of each and offered other models in the range and model year. He brought the keys around to both the vehicles we wanted to test drive. Not pressure to finish the test drive, just a great way to put the cars through their paces. We decided on a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL. After some preliminary discussion about our trade-in value we decided to buy the vehicle. We filled out the paperwork and were handed over to John Hartman (Finance Manager). John patiently walked my grandmother thru the options for extended warranties and what options we had, if financing was what we wanted. After that, we returned to Tim and he took care of all the rest of the documentations. We, mistakenly brought a copy of the title, but were assured that if we returned later in the day with the actual title, it would be a big deal. We drove the car off the lot and are super happy with it. Tim and John made the whole process easy and clear. Truly a win-win situation for everyone. Can't recommend them enough!! More
I have purchased 4 cars at Avis Ford over the last 6 years and have never been disappointed. Everyone that works there seems committed to making the car-buying experience as pleasant as possible. From the sales guys to the service techs - everyone is helpful and friendly. The contract terms and pricing are thoroughly explained prior to completing the deal. I have NEVER experienced at Avis that sickening feeling of having to go to the dealer to get a new car convinced that someone there will try to rip me off! What a change from other dealers I have been to. For me, this is what car-buying should be like - Avis Ford has earned my trust! I will always use Avis Ford as long as I purchase Ford vehicles. More
I called Dave the morning I picked up my car and had very little hope I would be walking out with a car. I was looking to possibly get a nice used car but to my surprise, was able to get a new car. very unprofessional--waited days before she returned my message only to learn she comes in at 1pm everyday!!! when i actually went into the dealership she had me wait another hour while she was talking to message only to learn she comes in at 1pm everyday!!! when i actually went into the dealership she had me wait another hour while she was talking to who i assumed was a customer when it was just a friend??? business first--right?? after taking another 1/2 to run my credit she returns telling me she can help if my income was higher and she'd charge me $300 for a "revised" paystub realllllllllly???!!!??? i left and went down the street and bought a brand new chrysler 200 with my own paystub!!! she's an unprofessional crook, be careful miss butler who you do business with, next time it may be undercovers More
After doing my research on the kind of vehicle I wanted, options and pricing, I emailed JZ (an internet salesperson) at Avis Ford in Southfield. He went through his inventory (and expected deliveries) and provided me with a quote that very same afternoon. Happy with this info, we made a quick stop down to the dealership so he could inspect and appraise my trade-in and we got the ball rolling. JZ is personable, professional, thorough and responsive. He goes above and beyond in everything he does (ie; he produces his own You Tube tutorials on various car features, he filled-up the gas tank before we took delivery and offers free car washes.) He's refreshing, honest and made the whole car-buying experience pleasant and seamless. Being that I had damage to the trade-in, I also dealt with Victor in the Avis body shop. He, too, "got the job done" and worked with my insurance company. This allowed me to continue to drive my car until I took delivery of the new one and saved me the cost of renting a car while the damaged one was in the shop. More

Went in for warranty work and wanted to get the engine light to turn off. I was over my warranty expiration date by 17 hours, less then one day over abd they would work with me all on helping me getting i light to turn off. I got my truck back with the engine light now flashing and my truck was misfiring. They said they would correct all the issues with my vechials and they failed to do that. More

With the help of Damon and Ingrid my husband and I decided to get a new truck, since I was not prepared to purchase a truck that day, Ingrid helped me to decide to lease, and I am soooooo happy with my Ford Escape (Limited):) I know when the lease is over I will BUY a Ford Escape. Not just this experience but every experience I have had with Avis Ford since 2002 has been an exceptional experience. Thank you!! More
