Service department shouldn't be trusted. Brief experience: my Focus horn stopped working. Avis quoted $500 to repair. Fortunately I couldn't wait for their repair window, so I did it myself. Installation took me an hour or two using a YouTube video as a guide. If I had had a hydraulic lift as the dealership does, I could have done it in less than 20 minutes -- even doing it for the first time. So let's see... a $60 part (100% mark up) plus 1/3 hour of labor at $200/hour = about a $130 (max) repair! But they wanted to charge $500!!! I will never trust them again -- and neither should you.
